2 bedroomed apartment comprising one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, a kitchen/dining room and a bathroom. Well equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, washer dryer, electric cooker and hob. This apartment has its own garden with patio.

About the property


Three bedroomed and two bedroomed spacious, self contained apartments in Newquay. Located on the edge of town in a quiet residential area and ideally situated to give easy access to Newquay Zoo, Trenance Gardens, International Tennis Centre, Gannel Estuary, Boating Lake and the thirteen beaches of Newquay Bay.

Electricity is included and linen is provided. We are very close to local Sports Centre, Swimming Pool and Tennis Centre of Excellence.

Booking Notes:
A £200 deposit per week secures reservation. The remaining balance is then payable on arrival.

Changeover Day:
The apartments are let from Saturday to Saturday and must be vacated by 10am on the departure date. Apartments are ready for occupancy at 2pm for new arrivals.

Notes on prices:
High Season Prices: £525 – £625 per week for a 3 Bedroomed Apartment or £375 – £475 per week for a 2 Bedroomed Apartment.

Short breaks are available subject to availability.

Extremely disappointed doesn't cover it.

The two bed supposed apartment is nothing at all like the pictures advertised. Very very outdated with non matching furniture. Non of the photographs of the rooms are of this property.

All floors were scruffy. We had to clean up before we could put our child on the floor.

The cleaners must just give it a quick flick over and that's it.

Expressed our disappointment to the owner who was more than helpful. He supplied us a brand new bed sheet and also offered a decent part refund as well as a good will gesture to take the family for a meal.

This property could potentially make a fabulous holiday home with a little work and attention to detail. It is such a shame it isn't of the quality of the photographs.

I would personally love to go and spend a week here and overhaul this property which would cost very little money or time.

Massive thumbs up to mark though as he couldn't be more helpful. He works long hours and doesn't bother you one bit.

After arriving at the accommodation it was basic but as described on the website - the cleaners had just finished as we arrived. A shame that it was not clean with sticky dining table and dirty floors. We do not dwell on these things a purchase of a basic table cloth and a good clean round sorted this out, the place had a damp smell, luckily the weather was great and just left the windows open the whole holiday along with some air fresheners.

Having said the above everything else was just as described - Mark who owns the property could not be more helpful, a really pleasant man. We asked for some towels and a large pan, within an hr or so they were outside our door, there was an electrical problem which again Mark sorted within the hr.

One day Mark had been fishing and offered Mackerel which was superb - thanks again Mark

Overall the place was great for the money paid.

I would happily stay here again but dont go with high expectations of the accomadation.

Basic accommodation better suited to all male/female groups rather than families (in high season)

The accommodation was basic. It was certainly better suited to those who don't like to sleep much.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who was very polite and he showed us around our 2 bedroom apartment. The property consists of 1 double bedroom, one twin room, a kitchen and a toilet/shower room. It also has sole use of the outside garden.

My first thoughts upon arrival was that there was a lot of noise coming from the apartment above as there was a group of 6 men staying in the 3 bedroom apartment upstairs. They were a nice bunch and to their credit I didn't hear the use of a single swear word all week which was a positive as I have 2 young children. I was able to hear the voices boom through from upstairs as well as banging of footsteps on the floorboards above even though they were a rather tame group. It was clear that they weren't shouting but it was more the build up of the house. I am a heavy sleeper and I was awoken every night when they returned from their night out. This would be my main reason for not returning to this property again in the future.

There was also no living room as such and as a result my wife and I would spend our evenings in the kitchen whilst the children were in bed. You could see what the owner was trying to do by adding a sofa, an armchair and a TV to the twin room but if you have small children these become redundant after kids bedtime! The rooms are decorated to a basic standard and did not resemble the look as advertised here. Little things like lamps in rooms would be a good addition rather than the big 'cold' white lights. The owner would also do well to hire a cleaner with higher standards. Sadly, little things like muck on glasses and dirty backing trays, not a big deal (nor a deal breaker!), just meant that I would have to wash them myself on before first use.

All in all this would be a good location/base for a group of men/women looking to get away for a 'do' in Newquay. For a family stay though....sadly not. I have given this 2 stars rather than 1 due to A, the owner was a nice chap, and B, the noise issue may not be an issue out of season.

Basic but good location

The best think about this property is its location. It's a great base if you are not spending lots of time at the property. It was very convenient to walk into Newquay, about 15 minutes and only a 45 minute drive to St Ives. It was easy to use as a base to explore the rest of Cornwall and get to good surfing beaches. The property itself is very basic but clean. The beds aren't too comfy and the second bedroom is used as the living room. The owner lives above and works nights which means when he comes in at around 4-6am you can hear him going to bed and snoring. If you're a light sleeper, pack ear plugs. Nice size garden which has an open entrance. We bought or dog who loved the garden but we had to block off the entrance so he didn't escape. Overall good location but could find better.
