Bryn Tirion a little jewel in the crown of the Llyn Peninsula

  • 5 of 5

Lovely cottage with everything you could wish for located in a central position on the Llyn Peninsula. Short stroll over the fields to the beach and coastal walks, even closer to the Lion Hotel which served excellent local food at a reasonable price with friendly staff and a village shop just across the road. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying in this well appointed cottage in a beautiful part of the country with lots to do and see. Stuart (the owner) also very friendly and happy to assist in making your stay here enjoyable. I'm sure we will be back for another visit.....

Lovely cottage, great location.

We regularly go on self-catering holidays and have a lot of experience of renting holiday properties both in the UK & abroad. We found this holiday to be trouble free even from the booking process. The owners are obviously experienced and very good with communication and can answer any questions you might have. Also they are near-by which is reassuring, if you have any problems during your stay they are easily contactable and the cottage is well stocked with all the information you would need. We were impressed. The cottage it's extremely homely, very welcoming. Spotlessly clean throughout, looks almost new. It literally has everything you need, the contemporary kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are bright and the cottage style comfortable. The bathroom is modern and clean. The laundry/utility room containing a washer, separate dryer & freezer is in a detached outhouse which was great as you can't hear the washing machine, and gave easy access to the drying line. This was the perfect place to store our empty cases during our stay which is often a problem in holiday homes. Both bedrooms are fitted with televisions which we liked, if the children want to relax after the day out there was no arguing over what to watch. The village it is situated in is small, quiet & friendly. The pub and Post Office are very amenable. The location of the cottage is excellent for exploring the Llyn Peninsula so many places to visit, too many for me to list but all in easy reach from this cottage. There are many large beaches all around the area, the nearest beach is only a few minutes drive or 10 minute walk and it's beautiful. We took a pic-nic and spent the whole day there. Basically, you have all the boxes ticked here, whether you want a beach holiday, or relaxing time, or discovering History with the variety castles, or adventure, walking or cycling you can do it all from here. If you get the weather like we did, take the sun cream it was glorious! We will definitely recommend this cottage and will be visiting again.

Don't pass this one by ....

'Bryn Tirion' is absolutely beautiful! The cottage is furnished to an exceptional standard with incredible attention to detail throughout and immaculate. The Lounge is just unbelievably cosy with the most comfortable sofas ever! The bottle of Red wine waiting for us from Stuart and Amanda helped with the comfort factor! The kitchen has everything you could need ...The lounge and both bedrooms have wall mounted tv's with 'freeview' as well as a DVD / CD player downstairs. The bathroom is lovely - with a fab shower that can be hard to find in some rental properties.

The location couldn't be better to be honest ...a shop and Post office opposite, a great pub (The Lion -reviewed on Trip Advisor at 4/5) literally 30 seconds walk away and the beautiful Towyn Beach just 15-20 mins walk from your front door. It is extremely central for all the places you would want to visit ....or if you want to leave the car - still some gorgeous walks from the cottage.

Plenty of room outside with a huge courtyard and the locals couldn't be friendlier!

This was a last minute booking for us and I would highly recommend it! As long as you don't book for the next time we want to go!

Thanks to Stuart and Amanda - hope to see you again soon!
