Apartment in West Cowes, Isle of Wight, England - Recently Renovated In Perfect Location For Yacht Haven, Shops And High Speed Passenger Ferry

Welcome to our beautiful apartment, which has been recently renovated. It boasts an excellent location at the top of the High Street, opposite the entrance into the marina, in close proximity to the shops, restaurants and bars. Its location makes it ideal for crews and family holidays in West Cowes, being easily accessible on foot from the high speed ferry. Spacious, with stunning views across the Solent from the main living area, it can easily sleep six making it equally suitable for a weeks holiday, weekend getaway, or cosy Christmas and New Year break retreat. It has two bedrooms and modern bathroom. All linen, towels and a maid service (on leaving) are included to make your stay as easy as possible. The flat has wireless broadband and a fully equipped newly fitted kitchen. The living area has an LCD 40 inch smart TV with DVD and YouView box. A telescope is also available to view the passing boats from the lounge window. With gas central heating for the cooler months, you're assured of total home-from-home comfort.

About Sarah Brown

We purchased the apartment as our Island retreat. Unfortunately, we are unable to spend as much time on the Island as we would like and have therefore decided that we should rent the apartment when we're not using it. The apartment is furnished and equipped as our home and not as a holiday let, which we're sure you will agree when you stay in our beautiful home.

Why Sarah Brown chose Cowes

We purchased the property as our Island getaway; the views of the marina and The Solent are beautiful - there is always something to watch and yet it's a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Being on the edge of the town centre makes it an ideal base to explore the town and its facilities and the rest of the island with no where more than a 30 minute drive by car.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is ideally located right on the edge of Cowes town centre, shops, restaurants, bars and the quaint high street are on the door step as well as Cowes marina. The light and airy spacious apartment is a perfect getaway and you feel amongst island life as soon as you arrive. There is no need to drive anywhere and walking in the sea air and watching the boats go by is so relaxing.

Notes on accommodation: Central heating in every room. Instant hot water from combi-boiler, electricity and gas included in the price. No Smoking. Sorry no pets. No stiletto heels on the wooden floors please. Parking is on the road outside, although time restrictions apply without a permit. Visitor permits can be organised on request at time of booking. Outside: The living area is dominated by 3 large windows, one giving sea views across the Solent to the coast of south Hampshire. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed Linen, bath towels and tea towels are provided. Please supply your own beach towels. Beds made up for your arrival. The property is fully cleaned between each letting. Cleaning products are supplied. Other: Hallway has a wardrobe with hanging rail and several cupboards for storing bags, etc. Washing machine and tumble dryer are located in second bedroom.

This a great apartment, with lovely decor which really suits the local area. It was spotless, and really well equipped.

The views are wonderful, so it is tempting to sit and look at the view all day long, and it's quite an effort to drag yourself out!

The location is perfect for all the amenities of the lovely town of Cowes, but at the same time it was really quiet.

Just perfect, and we really hope to be back.

Beautiful flat in a great location

We stayed here for a week over the IoW Festival period. Close to the Redjet, stylishly decorated and brand new high spec kitchen. Was great and would thoroughly recommend!

well appointed apartment in great location

A very nice spacious property with good views out over the solent. Every conceivable utensil you could possibly need in the kitchen was available. The master bedroom is spacious though lacked a wardrobe, however there is hanging cupboard in the hallway. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full size bunks which our 2 young kids enjoyed but it does share the room with the laundry and boiler, but this wasn't a problem. I would recommend this property as it is well furnished, maintained and in a great location.

Central location, ideal property

Very helpful owner. We had lovely stay in the flat. Six adults in total so we used the sofa bed in the lounge. We were all very comfortable, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location. Thank you x

Ferry services from Southampton to East Cowes by Red Funnel and the apartment is only 2 minutes away in West Cowes via the chain ferry (known locally as the “floating bridge”).

Short 23 minute journey by RedJet catamaran from Southampton to West Cowes and an easy 5 minute stroll to the apartment up the High Street.

Damage Deposit £250

Booking Notes:
Once you have made a provisional booking we will send you a contract to sign and return together with a 20% non-refundable deposit. Your booking will be held for 5 days and is not confirmed until we have received the deposit and funds have cleared.

The balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival, together with a returnable security deposit of £250; this is returned once we have confirmation that: there is no damage; keys have been returned and no unreasonable additional cleaning is needed.

Changeover Day:
In high season changeover day is usually Saturday but we will be flexible if we can. Mid and low season changeover days are negotiable. Vacate apartment by 10am and admittance is from 3pm

Notes on prices:
Short breaks, if available are charged at 1/5th (per day) of the weekly price during the quiet months but not during the school holidays. Please contact us for details.
