Trem-y-Mor or "View of the Sea" is an ideal holiday cottage for a family looking for the home comforts for an easy hassle free holiday. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and utility room with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. Two lounges with TV/DVD so adults can escape and a private patio-terraced garden where you can take time out and enjoy looking out over the bay.
My family have been going to New Quay for nearly 30 years and bought 1 High Terrace in 1998. My children have grown up on New Quay holidays. They are now in their twenties and although they have been on holidays all over the world they still love to go to New Quay. 1 High Terrace is therefore a very much loved family holiday home. We love to go there at any time of the year just to get away from it all and relax. It's a safe haven for us all and we have many fond memories of boating trips, regatta races, crabbing competitions and many barbecues on the piers with friends.
Suzanne Lowe purchased this house in 1998
We had a static caravan in New Quay which we bought when we were first married. We got the opportunity to buy 1 High Terrace and never looked back.
It is in an ideal location in the heart of the village that ended all the trekking up hills with tired young children after a day on the beach. It is so close to the beach and we often smile when families walk past our house to start the long steep walks up the hills in New Quay to their homes, with tired grizzly children!
Location, location, location! You couldn't get any closer to the beach and all the amenities in any other holiday cottage in New Quay - a blessing with young children.
A side gate provides good access to the house into the utility room meaning you can avoid little people or pets covered in sand from walking sand through the house.
"Location, location, location" "We arrived back yesterday from New Quay. Wow, your house is so beautiful and so is New Quay. Everything thing we needed for a wonderful holiday on the door step! Thank you so much. We would love to come again"
Good spacious accommodation, has everything you need away from home.
This house is amazing! It's so close to the small town and beach...ideal when carrying lots of bags full of beach toys and towels!
The bedrooms were a good size, the bathroom was superb and immaculate.
The 2 lounges at the front of the house meant the children could watch a film away from the adults. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable.
Car parking wasn't really an issue for us.... It's very difficult to park outside of the house... but we parked our car for free up on the hill going out of the town. We hardly used our car anyway as everything was within walking distance.
My family and I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at New Quay the house is wonderful and has everything you could need to be comfortable. The statement doesn't lie when it says so close you can see the dolphins we sat in the garden on many an afternoon and could see them clearly, wouldn't hesitate to recommend trem y mor 5 stars

Further Details:
There are 2 mini super markets in the village and one bank. There are a variety of eating hostelries. On your doorstep is the Pen Wig - family pub and the Black Lion with a good pub garden.
The Watch House is great for a brunch sat out on their terrace.
For something more refined you might like to try The Hungry Trout on the sea front terrace directly below the house. Great for a quiet morning coffee or lunch sat outside in the sun watching the world go by, looking out over Cardigan Bay.
There is also Traeth with a great balcony overlooking the bay.
The Ship at Traseith is a good family buzzy pub as is The Ship at Llangranog. There is also the Crown Inn at Plwmp.
For a special treat go to The Harbour Master in Aberaeron. You can eat in their bistro section or fine dine. Both very good.
