Beautiful and peaceful location in historic fishermen's area of Port Soller, a few minutes from harbour, restaurants, bars and beach. The apartment has an breathtaking view of the natural bay of Port de Sóller and Tramuntana Mountains situated on the famous Carrer Santa Catalina d’Alexandria. Two good size bedrooms with double beds. Booth balcony has a breathtaking view. The largest balcony in the south has direct access from living room/dining room and master bedroom. The apartment has a well equipped modern kitchen, a spacious living room and a good size balcony facing the bay (South). The apartment has also Wifi (fiber).

We are a Swedish couple who fell in love with Port Soller at first sight. We bought the apartment in may 2013. Our plan is to grow old together in this wonderful place. Meanwhile, we hope we can provide some satisfaction and experience with other couples.

Fantastic Holiday...

We enjoyed a fantastic holiday in this apartment. The area is just stunning, so much to do and see. This part of Majorca is a mile away from the 'tourist drag' it is so peaceful and low key. Plenty of great places to eat and drink.

Beach is 5 minutes away, the sea was as warm as a bath.

The apartment is super, views from the balcony are amazing. The owner Brigitta and Cheryl who looks after the apartment are really helpful.

We have already booked again for 2017!

Paradise under the mountains

My wife and I stayed in this excellent apartment for the whole of September, and it was like home from home. It was so enchanting that my youngest son and partner came for a week on the third,but returned for the last weekend for just 2 days.I think that speaks volumes ! Cheryl and Clive always at hand to help and advise.We would return tomorrow without hesitation.I envy Birgitta and Thomas their retirement haven. Bob and Wendy Plymouth, England.

Schöne Wohnung mit Abstrichen

POSITIV:

- unproblematische Anmietung und Bezahlung.

- sehr freundlicher und hilfreicher Empfang durch Cheryl.

- schöne, geräumige, gut eingeteilte Wohnung.

- sehr gute Ausstattung (Küche, Waschmaschine auf dem Balkon).

- Reinigungsutensilien und z.B. Wasch- und Spülmittel vorhanden.

- PHANTHASTISCHE AUSSICHT aus allen Fenstern, sogar vom Bett !!

- sehr nahe zum Hafen, zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

- ideal für Ausflüge, Spaziergänge und Wanderungen.

NEGATIV:

- Das warme Wasser reicht zum Duschen für eine, maximal für zwei Personen. Die nächsten müssen zwei Stunden warten, bis wieder genug warmes Wasser vorhanden ist. Überhaupt ist die Installation etwas "in die Jahre gekommen".

- Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig. Vor allem im Schlafzimmer und im Bad hört man jedes Wort und jeden Schritt der Nachbarn.

- Die Wohnung hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Wir konnten (im Februar) immer etwas in unmittelbarer Nähe finden, wie das in der Saison ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Superb apartment

We stayed in the apartment for 9 nights and didn't want to leave. It had everything we needed (comfy beds, well equipped, modern, clean & quiet) and those views! Fabulous to wake up in the morning, open the doors to the balcony and take in the view if Port Soller & the mountains. There are a few steps up to the apartment but this didn't bother us. This was one of our favourite holidays and we plan to return at some point. Port Soller & Soller town have great places to eat too.

God beliggenhed.

Lækker lejlighed, god beliggenhed samt en hjertelig velkomst af et rigtigt sødt værtspar. Lys og venlig lejlighed pæn overalt, med en rigtig god udsigt over byen og havnen. Der var kun et minus, der var utroligt lydt i lejligheden, vi kunne høre hvad over-under og nabo gjorde og sagde.

However, we would be very grateful if you could clarify what you mean by that you could hear all that the neighbors said and did ?! No guest has previously mentioned it. Neither have we had that experience. On the contrary, all of our guests says that the apartment and the surrounding area is so quiet! If there is anything that can be met, we want very much to do it! Wonderful location

Location, location! Fabulous views of the port, beaches and mountains from the balcony of the apartment. Just a 5 minute walk down to the port where there is a great choice of bars and restaurants.

Excellent accommodation tastefully decorated with all the appliances you need and more!

Cheryl was extremely helpful and always available if needed.

Special interest holidays:

The port is a centre for sea trips and mountain walks. Organised walks with Mountain Guides if preferred. The town has a scenic tram and rail line that runs over the mountains to Palma, Mallorca's historic capital city. The port is renown throughout the island for having a wide variety of high quality restaurants.

Many other towns/villages easy to access from the port including Fornalutx, Biniaraix, Deia and Valdemossa.

The ’Serra de Tramuntana’ mountains are much loved by walkers and bikers all over the world and the apartment is a great base for your holiday.

Coast/Beach:

Attractive beaches are a few minutes walk away with plenty of sun-loungers for hire in the summer months. For the thrill-seekers amongst you, try hiring a speed-boat within the port to explore the beautiful coastline and to discover hidden beaches! The waters are also excellent for snorkelling.

Travel:

Palma airport is 40 km (40 minutes drive).

Convenient tram, bus and train connections make car hire unnecessary. There are competitive hire firms in the port and at the airport if required.

Soller 4 km. Fornalutx 6 km. Deia 12 km. Valldemossa 20 km. Palma 30 km.

Further Details:

There are many restaurants and bars of various specialities within a short walk. Carrer Santa Catalina boasts seven restaurants renowned for mallorcan cuisine.

There are 5 small supermarkets in the port providing all your ingredients for home cooking.

Sóller is located in a valley of the Sierra d’Tramuntara which opens onto the sea, 10 minutes tram ride away. The scenery, Mediterranean climate and fresh mountain air make it a fascinating and captivating place. Porto Sóller is the perfect place for relaxing on the beach and in the pavement bars and cafés or for taking one of several sea cruises. In addition, the proximity of the Sierra d’Tramuntana make it the ideal setting for mountain rambling, hiking and climbing all year round.

Segway, scuba diving, windsurfing, canoeing, boat trips, fishing, cycling and walking are just a flavor of activities available in this location.
