This beautifully converted Welsh Chapel is located in the middle of the seaside village of Morfa Bychan, with unobstructed views of Porthmadog golf course and Moel y Gest with just a 5 mins walk to Black Rock Sands beach. Situated on the coast between Porthmadog and Criccieth. Ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia national park and the Lynn peninsula. Fully renovated to a modern high standard in 2013.

We were very pleased with the property which was clean and well-kept. Great location in a small village near the beach and Porthmadog - but within very easy reach of Snowdonia with all it's attractions. We have no complaints at all.
Marvelous accommodation in a great setting. Arrived to find place so clean you could quite literally have eaten off the floors! Beds were so comfortable though after walking up moel-y-gest for first time in 40 years and long walks along the splendid Black Rock Sands would probably have slept soundly on a wooden board. First beach and mountain for Sammy the dog who has loved his stay. Place is equipped with everything you could possibly want - even to extent of dog bowls! Cannot speak highly enough and will definitely be back.
Very clean and neat cottage. Conviienent location for visiting all of Snowdoia. Close to Port Merion, Harlech, Caernarfon and Snowdon. Easy access to beach and numerous walks from vicinity of cottage. For three of us lots of space.
Property was clean & tidy. Wi-Fi & TV worked well.
Kitchen was very dark - could use more light there once sun has gone down. Everything worked in the kitchen (though didn't try the washing machine)
Nice views of golf course & Moel-Y-Gest.
Electricity is a bit expensive, especially the hot water.
Property is easily big enough for 6 people
Fine private car park (shared with next door cottage)
Owner very helpful - arranged to have a watch which had been left behind posted to us.
I'd happily go again
I booked to stay at both the cottages with my family and from the initial enquiry I was very impressed at the quick response and communication from Alan. We have stayed nearby before and I noticed the cottages last year and thought they looked lovely and we were not disappointed.
The cottages were modern, well designed and fully stocked with everything we needed. They were very clean and no equipment was broken. There were 7 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of room for us all. The cottages are ideally placed and not far to the beach, local shop and chippy and right opposite the golf course which has a fab walk up the mountain just behind. We were all so impressed that we have already booked for next year. Had a wonderful time and can highly recommend these properties. Thanks so much Alan
Loved this cottage - we had both cottages for a family group so being able to access the other cottage through the middle door was superb, whilst having our own space when we needed it.
This cottage has been finished to a very high standard and has lots of useful items already there - drying room, loads of cooking pans and an all important washing machine.
The local shops are very close and provide most things you need. Porthmadog is very close and easy to reach. None of us had mobile signal in the cottage (O2) but had skype which worked just fine on the wifi in the cottage.
The kids loved the proximity of the beaches - both the sandy one a short walk from the cottage as well as the excellent black sands beach a few miles away. The location is ideal for visiting castles, getting to the snowdonia national park and lots of caves to explore close by.
We had a wonderful week and would definitely recommend this accommodation.
