Perfect location with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

My partner & I stayed in the Carthouse for a week in May 2017 with our German Shepherd. The Carthouse has been renovated to a high standard & has everything you could possibly need. The views from the kitchen are stunning. Martha, Mark & the boys were very welcoming & there was an enormous freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us on the kitchen table. I must not forget to mention Billy the dog who visited us daily to catch up with our dog. There are several walks directly from the cottage that join up with the Pembrokeshire coastal path. While there are several small sandy beaches within walking distance, our favourite is Newport Sands, which is a short drive away. It is the biggest sandy beach I've seen in the UK, is dog friendly & you can even park your car on the beach. The Carthouse is the perfect location from which to explore Pembrokshire & we hope to be back again soon.

The Carthouse......Perfect

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect place to get away from it all, lovely location and everything you need to enjoy a relaxing coastal break. The Carthouse is very nicely appointed , everything so clean and comfortable . We had a fresh home baked loaf of bread on arrival , what a treat! Martha's attention to detail is fantastic and was appreciated. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

A lovely little cottage & we highly recommend it, it was clean & tidy & lovely & peaceful.

  • 5 of 5

Unfortunately we went in November & the weather was pretty awful, but we managed to take our dog to several beaches & we enjoyed a couple of lovely meals out. As the cottage was so nice & warm & cosy it didn't worry us that we spent more time inside than we intended as we really enjoyed the rest. Martha, who owns the cottage, is a lovely lady, she doesn't bother you but is on hand should you need anything. We cannot recommend it highly enough & it is in a very beautiful area.
