We have had a business in Kefalonia for almost 20 years. We had two children and now live both in Kefalonia and the U.K.. It is a family run business, building and managing villas. We manage, clean and maintain all our villas to a very high standard. This property was purchased as a home base and as we only are in the U.K. for a period of time, we decided to holiday let it when we are away. It is located in an ideal area close to many tourist attractions and yet far enough away to be a quiet get away.

Perfect Holiday Home for a Family

  • 5 of 5

i have stayed here for 4 nights with my family and my first comment is that house is very clean , owner has provided almost everything you need at home. Its in a very safe and quiet locality, and u have Tesco / pubs / restaurant near by. House heating system / WI-FI runs very smooth. In the house you have ample space for a family. there are spare DVD and Books to enjoy in your free time. There are lot of wardrobe and shelf in house for your all luggage . kitchen is very well organised with Toaster / coffee maker / oven etc. I will certainly love to be back in this home if i need to visit blackpool. The only improvement i will recommend is to change bunk bed mattress, however mattress in main bedroom is good and if possible change TV to 30 inch size.

Bring your own light bulbs

  • 1 of 5

You will need to bring your own light bulbs because most were missing or didn't work. The owner didn't respond to the email, so don't expect anything like support. Add the fact that the TVs remotes had no batteries and the garden furniture was broken, with the garden unsafe for Childern with slippery moss covered patio and broken fench panels laying n the floor. This really is a place to avoid.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry your stay at our bungalow was not what you had in mind. Firstly regarding my response, I did not receive any communication either by email or telephone regarding your issues, if I had I would and always do immediately respond. Apologies for the broken garden furniture, unfortunately not all guests are respectful and this must have been overlooked. Batteries and light bulbs are perishables and can go or run out at any time, possibly some were missed.

Just what I expected!

  • 4 of 5

We had a busy few days planned visiting family. The house was fine for us, a short(ish!) walk to Daughters. My partner brought a hair dryer, to be fair none was mentioned on the site and none was provided, can't be fairer than that! I snore terribly, apparently, so my partner ended up in the bunk bed but I had plenty of room! There are a few areas where an upgrade would be useful, a better light to go into the garage for the washing machine/ dryer/freezer as I discovered the step when I was heading for the opposite wall! LOL. We used none of the mentioned white goods so cannot say anything about them, apart from the Freezer had quite a bit of stuff in it ( Chips, fish, peas Etc.) and we were not sure if it was meant to be available for us or had been left by previous guests.Perhaps a bigger telly, but I don't watch much, just an observation. For the price and what the owners supply, absolutely no problem, very happy and will seek to book next time.

Clean, spacious and bright.

  • 5 of 5

Ideally located for exploring the Blackpool and St Anne's and Fleetwood area. A short drive to any of the surrounding towns. The house is situated in a quiet residential area with a local shop a couple of minutes walk away. Five minute drive to the supermarket. We'll definitely be back.
