Villa in Binisafua Playa, Nr. Sant Lluis, Menorca, Balearic Islands - Located Just A 5 Minute Stroll Away From The Beach

This new modern luxury villa is truly amazing. Arranged over 3 levels maximising the spectacular sea views. The ground floor offers a large modern kitchen/diner with double doors leading out onto terrace and pool with built in jacuzzi the perfect place to relax with a drink from the outside bar. Here you can enjoy the secluded outside entertaining area, B.B.Q. etc. Two double bedrooms and two luxury appointed bathrooms (1 en-suite). The stunning lounge is situated on the first floor level, a wonderful light room with spectacular 180 degree sea views from the large windows on three sides of the room leading out to two spacious terraces, perfect for lazy afternoons watching the boats sail by! The lower ground floor holds a large chill out lounge, large double/twin bedroom, full luxury appointed family bathroom and separate laundry room. This area also has it's own patio and stairs leading to the pool area. A most amazing and luxurious property for the most discerning guests.

This was the second time we stayed at Villa Binimita however the first time with five of us. The villa as ever was a great private retreat with everything our family needed to have a luxurious but also functional stay. All the mod cons plus air conditioning in all the main rooms was a relief, especially in Menorca in August! Also the villa being a 5 minute walk from two small beeches on the days when you can actually drag the kids away from the pool at the villa was great. Most of all though it’s the ability to be secluded and private in the villa but with Menorca being a small island you also remain connected so its the best of both worlds. The pre holiday booking experience was also very easy and pleasant when dealing with Giorgia. In summary, great Villa and as always Menorca remains unspoiled in comparison to the modern world. To prove this you just need to look up at the sky from the top floor of the villa, minimal light pollution means you’ll get to see our solar system, quite nice to look at with a bottle of Estrella.

The perfect choice

Binimita was the perfect choice for 2 adults and 2 teenagers as there was more than enough luxurious room for everyone to have their own space and also to enjoy quality time together.

The villa was spotless on arrival and exactly as described and we met Giovanna later on in the day. She is extremely knowledgeable about the island and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen is very well stocked - I can't think of a single implement I needed that wasn't there. The cooler bag and ice bricks were a huge bonus on trips out to the local water park, SplashWorld.

The swimming pool is sublime and soooooo deep! Always clean and sparkling. The previous occupants has asked for the waterfall to be turned off as it was quite loud and we only had it on for a few days for the same reason although it did look very pretty.

We soon discovered a tiny gem of a beach (turn right at the bottom of the road instead of left to the main beach) and the teenagers spent many hours there being independent and jumping off the rocks into turquoise crystal clear water. Nearby Binibeca beach was also a popular choice, albeit a drive away.

Giorgia's communication with us from start to finish was spot-on, comprehensive and quick. What a lovely hostess. And there was a fine bottle of wine to greet us!

I would whole-heartedly recommend this beautiful villa to friends.

We've just bought this beautiful villa that Bob and Mandy built and maintained with all their passion and devotion through these years. The project of this house was meant for all year round living; for this reason the famous local architect, who designed and built the property, transformed it into a modern, chic, luxury villa, full of facilities. We've chosen this house not only for its' architectural details and its' spectacular sea views but also for its' location: close to local amenities and to the local beaches. The house was finished in 2009 and we are very proud of our purchase. Our new villa is able to show off a high standard of finishes making it a spacious and luxurious home. If you'll decide to rent our villa you will surely not be disappointed and will share our vision.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest sandy beach is just a 5 minute stroll from the villa, it is unspoilt and has no sun beds or umbrellas for hire, mainly used by locals, it is a sheltered cove and very pretty. Just a 10 minute drive away is the famous Binibeca beach and a further 5 minutes drive will bring you to Punta Prima here you will find beautiful turquoise sea and white sand with a selection of bars and restaurants right on the beach.

Travel:

Mahon airport is 10 minutes drive from the villa, San Luis is the local town and will take you 8 minutes by car. To reach the capital Mahon is a 15 minute drive. There is a small local restaurant close by. Public transports are not so efficient so we recommend a car. You can rent it at the airport and drop it back there when you leave.

Further Details:

Binisafua is a quiet location with an equal balance of holiday properties and all year residents, the backdrop of lovely countryside and stunning sea views make is very special. Local shops, supermarkets, banks and restaurants are located in the town of San Luis just a short drive away. There is also access to country walks.

The short walk down to the unspoilt cove of Binsafua make it an ideal spot to relax on the sandy beach or enjoy swimming from the rocks in the beautiful turquoise sea, a great spot for snorkeling. After a hard day on the beach relax by the secluded private pool or just sit in the specially designed jacuzzi and listen to the gentle waterfall at the end of the pool. The outside bar area and BBQ are all on this level making it a great spot to entertain.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Wi-fi connection can be provided on request. This is a non smoking property. The villa is subject to aircraft noise during day time due to it's location close to the flight path. Outside: The ground floor outside area is the largest zone with teak decking, a section of tiled patio and planted borders and hedges. This is where the pool and jacuzzi and solar powered outside shower are situated and the all important, outside entertaining area with a BBQ and bar area. There is a large pergola providing shade, a large glass table and coungers. On the 1st floor are two separate terraces on either side of the lounge one has a teak table and chairs plus comfortable exterior sofa and chairs and the other a double sun bed with it's own canopy, from here you can enjoy the spectacular sea views from both terraces, both have down lighters built into the pergolas for comfortable evening living. There are two covered off road parking areas. Utility Room: Situated on the lower ground floor, utility with washing machine and butler sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen, bath towels and hand towels are provided and changed once weekly for stays longer than one week. Extra cleaning can be provide at a charge. Pool towels can be provided at a small extra cost, ask for details. Other: A second lounge is situated on the lower ground floor, a great chill out zone with large sofa, TV, DVD and music system. A great area for kids/teens to get away from it all! Air-con in this area of the house
