Lodge Near Clovelly, North Devon, England - Peaceful, Rural Location, Close To The SW Coast Path, Atlantic Highway, Bude And Clovelly

Lodge 79 our 'Brown House' has an enviable position overlooking Clifford Water fishing lakes within the small development of Hartland Forest. Lodge 79 was new to the rental market in 2014 and in excellent condition with all the facilities you need for a self-catering holiday in the UK. The setting is quiet and rural, a car is essential to allow you to explore the area. There are local shops available in Woolsery (about 2 miles) or 5 miles (Kilkhampton). Just beyond Kilkhampton is the beautiful National Trust beach of Sandymouth in Cornwall, with good surfing, playing on the sand or walking along the cliffs. Slightly further into Cornwall you find Bude with its choice of 2 beaches, shops and surf schools. On the north Devon coast there is easy access to the S.W coastal path and more great walking, including Hartland lighthouse and the popular tourist town of Clovelly. Bikes are available to hire in Bideford (or bring your own) and there is family-friendly cycling on the Tarka Trail.

About Tim Bianek

We have only very recently been renting our family holiday home. "The Brown House", lovingly named by our son when he was 3, has been our base for exploring the South West for the last 7 years. We have lots of ideas of places to go, and little gems for you to find in the area that we can share with you. Whether you want to walk, surf, cycle, horse ride or sightsee, you can easily occupy yourselves for a week or two. You will though, need a car.

Outside: Outside there is ample space for 2 cars alongside.There are also two onsite fishing lakes stocked with Carp, Roach and Tench. Fishing is free to guests at our lodge. Utility Room: The lodge is also fitted with thermostatically controlled heating throughout. There is an iron, ironing board, airer, vacuum and cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included in the price.
