Agua de Sal has been owned by the same family since it was built and as a result has a special charm and character of its own. Being one of the first villas built in the village it has a unique and advantageous position being just minutes walk from the beach and shops but far enough away not to be bothered by noise or traffic. Once you arrive hear you will rarely need to use your car. Bikes are supplied by the owners. Key features of the property include a completely private garden with terraces and sitting areas. The large main lounge dining room open out onto a large outside sitting/dining area and garden. The kitchen has been completely refurbished this year and boasts all modern conveniences. Also on the ground floor is a study/library with wifi and the spacious entrance hall. The first floor boasts five double bedrooms one with children’s bunks and two luxury bathrooms. every room has a large outside balcony/terrace area. The top floor has a penthouse suite with huge terrace.

FANTASTIC HOUSE IN A FANTASTIC LOCATION !

The house has everything you want for your holiday.It has plenty of space with excellent bathroom facilities,spacious well equipped kitchen, great patio and barbecue not to mention the lounge and penthouse.The owners were extremely helpful and on hand if we needed anything.The resort is so nice its hard to find anything better for beach,restaurants,wonderful shops and things for the children.

This house is everything you could possibly wish for. Close to the beach but with a superb garden which you probably wont want to leave. The house itself is superbly appointed with all modern facilities and masses of room . The owners really have thought of everything to make your stay first class, even bikes to get around and wi fi should you feel the need to get in touch with the outside world! Everything was catered to make our stay so relaxing, in a fantastic setting. We will definitely re-book

Stunning!

What an amazing place to stay. This stunning villa really was a fabulous place to spend a week. Spacious, airy and beautifully decorated . Everything about it was first class. The villa situated in a lovely chilled setting was a great place for us to unwind. The beach is very close to the villa and local amenities with lovely bars and restaurants close by. Friendly people , I will definitely return to what can only be described as a beautiful villa in a beautifully relaxed part of the world .

This beautiful house was built by my grandfather. In the early years it was a small hotel run by my grandparents called the Hotel Cactus. Around five years ago after many years of neglect I decided to refurbish the house and bring it back to life. Villa Agua de Sal was born. Come and see for yourself why so many people love this property.

Villa Agua de Sal is located approximately four minutes walk from the beautiful beach Cavall Bernat with its crystal clear waters, beach bars and restaurants. The famous spectacular "calas" of the Costa Brava can be reached by the stunning coastal paths or in minutes by bicycles that are provided by the owners.

The whole area is criss-crossed with cycle routes and beauty spots all easily reachable without taking the car.

Travel:

Distance from Barcelona is 115km and from Gerona 34km. The villa has two garages for cars and whilst having a car is useful for those longer excursions it is certainly not essential as all amenities are at hand and bicycles are provided by the owners.

  • Outside: Agua de Sal has a large but practical garden with two terraces and a two sitting areas. A barbecue area services both the terrace and the garden. At the back of the house the garden is laid to fruit trees and the access to the double garage. The garden is private and secluded and shaded by a huge pine tree for those balmy summer evenings. Dining furniture and out door lounge furniture throughout. The top floor penthouse has a 50m roof terrace half solarium , half dining/sitting area with views to the mountains and the village. Utility Room: Fully automatic washing machine with separate tumble dryer. Ironing board and iron. Outside butlers sinks and washing area. Outside drying area and close lines. Access to garage and street. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included and are changed on a weekly basis . maid and chef services are available upon request. Other: All rooms have been tastefully and individually decorated with great attention to detail and maintaining the charm and character of the house. The first floor has a terrace that goes around the house giving a wonderful sense of grandeur to the bedrooms.
