Arranged over 3 floors, the property includes a thoughtful mixture of traditional and contemporary features, and offers comfortable well-equipped accommodation with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The cottage offers very comfortable accommodation for up to four people in two bedrooms, and is well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. About Helen Hanna

Hi I'm Helen and welcome to Naburn Holiday Cottage info. I live in Selby, which is about 14 miles from Naburn. My family and I have enjoyed many cottage holidays over the years and when the opportunity arose, we were inspired to create our own holiday cottage so that our guests can have a good time exploring all that North Yorkshire has to offer from a comfortable base.

Our priority was to offer good quality, clean and comfortable accommodation with great home from home facilities. I am able to provide a personal touch for our guests as I prepare the cottage myself and look after all other aspects of bookings and running the cottage.

Why Helen Hanna chose North Yorkshire

I was born and brought up in Yorkshire and love the variety that North Yorkshire offers from historic towns and cities to wild moors and a beautiful coastline. Naburn is ideally placed to explore all that North Yorkshire has to offer yet Naburn itself is a traditional riverside village with an excellent pub.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your house is 5 star, very well equipped, gorgeously comfy bed and great location, we loved it!"

Tim and family

‘The cottage has been beautifully restored not so much a ‘home from home’ but a ‘better than home’ from the fixtures and fittings to the games, books, dvds and treats – the free wifi and ipod docking stations were a real bonus. Had breakfast a few days on the patio in the sunshine and by the end of the week I was thoroughly relaxed and did not want to go home!”

Lovely Property

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I recently stayed at this property and we were impressed. The house has everything you need. It's clean and tidy. The back yard is a sun trap. Unfortunately we had to leave 2 days early due to me falling ill with a bad cold. We would definitely book this property again. We'd recommend the local pub for a meal.

Lovely cottage in a rear location for York and surroundings.

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was in a great location near the river and only 2 miles from the York retail outlet where you can pick up the Park and a Ride for the centre of York. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you are likely to need. The owner was very helpful when we left our phone chargers behind. Recommend it completely.

Fabulous holiday cottage and excellent value for money!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay last weekend was about our fifth visit to this cottage. It has everything and more we could ask for; lovely cosy bed, crisp clean bed linen, everything you could wish for in the kitchen and a couple of nice treats left by Helen, plus a lovely little sun trap outside to sit and have a glass of wine if the weather is nice. We have also fallen completely in love with the very pretty little village of Naburn. We would recommend this cottage to everyone.

Amazing holiday home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 4 nights & none of us wanted to leave. The cottage is beautiful, very well equipped & had all the little extras anyone could want. We had our 8 year old daughters with us & if we had let them stay in the attic room playing then we wouldn't have seen them at all. They had such fun. Cottage is in ideal location for York etc, we went to Flamingo land for the day which the kids loved. Can't recommend this cottage enough, we would love to go back.
