I was born and grew up on the property where the cottage sits. The cottage is where the original family home was, it was rebuilt 10 years ago. It is a passion of mine to share this beautiful area with people from all over and let them see what the Highlands has to offer.

Animals are a large part of my life and are all part of the family, come and feed the lambs, horses, hens, ducks and geese.

Red squirrels and woodpeckers can be seen in the woods beside the cottage. You can walk freely around the wood and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Cottage is lovely, thank you for the welcome pack, we have had a really peaceful and relaxing time in your lovely cottage. We have enjoyed your lovely fresh eggs of a morning. Thank you for being so kind to us and will definitely be back.

Pat and Ian, Liverpool

This was the best cottage ever we have had in Scotland!!!. Avery warm welcome, a good bottle of wine, chocolate, eggs and sadly rain but we loved it.

Fous en Lief, Belgium

Back again for our 6th visit to you, now feels like home from home. Black Ilse show was entertaining, saw dolphins from Fort George, boys loved helping with the animals as always. Thanks for the goodies and warm welcome as always.

Very well equipped, clean and comfortable homely house.

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house, we had a very good welcome from Veronica and a lovely welcome pack including 6 fresh eggs. The animals were lovely making it a suitable place to bring children but young children would need to be supervised because it is situated on a fast road. It was in a good area, near shops in Beauly, plenty to do and see.

Lovely cottage, nice and helpful owner. Very well equipped, spacious rooms. Easy to find but can be bit noisy as it sits close to the road.

What an amazing landing pad!

  • 5 of 5

This house really has everything you and your family would ever need. Very clean, cute, easy to find and centrally located. You’re a short 5 minutes to Loch Ness, a 15 minute drive to downtown Inverness (amazing restaurants) and a relatively short drive to the west coastal towns and Skye. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The owner left us a fantastic welcome basket. She has the cutest little baby lambs, horses, dogs, rabbits and other farm animals. I would book this house again and again.

Very warm spacious comfortable clean cottage, with everything you could wish for.The furniture is of a much higher standard than expected in a holiday home. The double bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. There was welcome basket with beer chocolates fresh eggs and shortcake. Tea coffee and condiments to start us off. The sheep were just lambing, a perfect place for peace and quiet. Thank you Veronica for sharing your cottage with us.
