"My wife and I would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at Bank Cottage. We both had a fantastic time, the cottage is cosy, well equipped and provides amazing views of the river Wye and surrounding valleys. We are already missing the cottage and look forward to coming and staying again. You have both been wonderful hosts, thank you for all your help and guidance."

A cosy hideaway with wonderful views

  • 5 of 5

Llandogo is a lovely place to base yourself to spend some time in the Wye Valley. Along with my wife and two young children, we spent a long weekend at Bank Cottage over Easter and highly recommend it.

The cottage is comfortable, welcoming and has everything you need for eating, sleeping and relaxing. The outside space is also great with a lovely big garden and large decking area (which we unfortunately didn't get to use due to the bad weather - maybe next time!). The views over the river and valley are stunning and make for a very tranquil and relaxing environment.

For walkers it's a great staring point for a hike and a short drive to many of the other lovely locations in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.

We really loved our time at Bank Cottage and hope to return again soon.

Cosy Cottage With Amazing Views

  • 5 of 5

Fabulous - as ever! We've stayed on the same Spring weekend for the last 4 years (which is an indication of what we think of the place), but I imagine it's as appealing at any time of the year.

It's a cosy and well stocked cottage and perfect for 2 couples. 2 of us are keen (road) cyclists; 2 are keen walkers - each year we discover excellent new routes and areas of interest within striking distance.

Lovely quiet retreat

  • 5 of 5

We spent a lovely couple of days here with our dog. It is on the hillside overlooking the river in the distance. The views are fabulous. The cottage was lovely and cosy, clean, and well appointed There are a few other cottages nearby, but it is private and VERY quiet at night. We loved it.

By the way, the lanes are narrow getting up to the cottage, but we easily managed to get a VW transporter up there.
