"My wife and I would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at Bank Cottage. We both had a fantastic time, the cottage is cosy, well equipped and provides amazing views of the river Wye and surrounding valleys. We are already missing the cottage and look forward to coming and staying again. You have both been wonderful hosts, thank you for all your help and guidance."

Beautiful cottage in stunning location

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed a 3 night stay in May. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable. It was warm enough to sit out on the amazing decking and enjoy the beautiful views every night and after a hard day's exploring Chepstow, Tintern and Monmouth, amongst other places , was great to relax in a lovely garden. Would certainly stay again if I'm down in lovely Llandogo.

Wonderful cottage in Wales

  • 5 of 5

This was by far the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and everything was wonderful quality. Everything you would every want was there. Lots of games for wet weather, walking sticks for the fantastic walks on the doorstep and lots more. The views from the cottage were breathtaking and the garden well kept with lots of interesting features including a pond with fountain and decking overlooking the valley. We will certainly be visiting again.

Lovely views, quiet location and beautiful country side

  • 4 of 5

Clean and comfortable, well appointed, interior steps a bit steep for the older person and the road access a challenge

Great character and views

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is in a lovely location and has gorgeous views. We didn't have any issues finding it but Jean kindly sent us directions just in case. Great for the dog with walks nearby and a nice big garden. Loads of character in the cottage and also loads of information on things you can do nearby. If I had to be critical, the shower was a little weak and the toaster was temperamental but that is being picky. We all wished we could've stayed longer to make the most of it! We had reasonable weather as well as a wedding to attend so were out exploring but I think the cottage would be lovely in the winter with the games, books and fire (and wine!).

Lovely spot

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is warm and homely and in a spectacular position. Fantastic views over the river Wye and surrounding countryside. The track up to the cottage feels a little tricky but you soon get used to it! Hope to go back one day and explore the area more as it's beautiful.

Lovely Homely cottage with wonderful Views

  • 5 of 5

This home had everything you could wish for with more besides. We were able to sit on the decking even in early April ! In the evening we sat in the well equipped kitchen with the stove lit playing games that had been thoughtfully provided. Beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water when needed. We will be returning and would recommend it to anyone
