Close to direct buses into the West End, and short walk to London Bridge and Tower Hill tubes. Many famous attractions such as the Tower of London, HMS Belfast, the Globe and Tate Modern within a 20 minute walk.

Great location, nice apartment

My brother and I stayed here for 4 days in mid-Sept. The apartment is in a great location for sightseeing as well as using public transportation.The place is spacious, well equipped, and has all the comforts of home. There are a number of books about travel and extras like that in the apartment. Like some other reviews, the apartment is on a main street, so there is a bit of road noise. However, if you can sleep with ear plugs, then the problem is solved. Also, there is no A/C so it did stay a bit warm at night. Otherwise, it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay.

Lovely spacious apartment in a great location.

This apartment is even better than the photos, clean, very spacious and well equipped. Booking was very easy and Karen replied promptly to any queries we had. Entry was easy and straightforward. A short 5 minute walk from Tower Bridge, 10 minutes from The Tower of London and St. Katherines Dock. We also enjoyed walking to St. Pauls Cathedral and exploring Southbank.

Hope Karens apartment is available for our next trip to London.

Excellent in every way

Property was super. Everything as described. Lovely having the little extras such as milk in fridge and tea & coffee. We enjoyed the communal garden and were lucky to have warm weather. Brilliant location. Can't wait to return.

Great location with easy access to many attractions and loads of restaurants.Transport links excellent. The apartment satisfies all requirements and was immaculately clean. Facilities enable it to be used as just a base or to return to at the end of the day and chill out in comfort.

From the Owner

The apartment was very conveniently situated near London Bridge main line station and offered good communication with most parts of London. We were excited by all the plans in place to improve and develop the area, which we have seen change considerably in the last 10 years from warehousing to modern glass and steel with a fantastic water front area. We have really enjoyed being close to the River and Thames Path, and close to historic landmarks such as the Tower of London, St Katherines Dock and HMS Belfast.

Nearest Train : London Bridge 10 minutes at 0.1 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : M25 at 20 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Southend at 40 Kilometres Car: not necessary


1- 2 hours away.


London is served by 4 airports: City, Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. City airport is very close (30 Minutes) accessible on the DLR. The other airports have excellent public transport links into the city which will take 1-1.5 hours depending on time of day.


West end and Covent garden accessible by direct bus from Tower Bridge Road (20 Minutes) via Tate Modern, Southbank Theatres and concert halls, Waterloo and London Eye. Other destinations such as Kensington and National Museums as easy underground trip on District and Circle line from Tower Hill. Jubilee line from London Bridge goes directly to Wembley and Stratford.

Further Details:

Property very close to many restaurants on waterfront and in Shad Thames area.Likewise many local shops and chain supermarkets also close.

From the Owner

It has a huge range of places to visit close by. It has always been convenient for the west end, and Southbank but now it has good links to the Stratford and all that offers, as we found when enjoying the Olympics. As well as popular and well known places there are few hidden treasures in Bermondsey and locally, such as the Shortwave cinema and our local Pub. The London marathon is a great weekend as the route goes past the window.
