Carre Royal with a garden and lift

Very quiet apartment in a secured brand new building (with a lift) perfectly located in the historical center. It is easy to go everywhere by walk from this place. Restaurants, bars, supermarket, beach, lake, railway station and shops are all around the flat. The flat benefits from a landscape garden which is very much appreciated. This island of greenery will provide you peace and tranquillity while being situated in the heart of hectic city of Annecy. It is just 50m away from le quai des Cordeliers and the canal! To complete your holidays, 2 bikes are provided, as well as a complete documentation of Annecy and its region. The flat is fully furnished and equipped with high standing equipment (electrical shutters, dish-washer, washing machine, flat TV 82cm, big wardrobe).

Although located right in the busy town center, this flat enjoy a very quiet and peaceful environment. You can do everything by a short walk (restaurants, lake, shopping, train station ...). It is managed directly by the owners who will be there to welcome you.

Booking Notes:
To confirm the booking we need a pre-payment of 50% and the remaining balance will have to be paid 4 weeks before your arrival. Security deposit (refundable at the end of the stay): 600 €. It can be paid in your local money.

Changeover Day:
Check-in: starting 17:00, Check-out: before 11:00. To receive the keys you simply communicate your expected arrival time and we (owner) will arrange the pick up directly.

Notes on prices:

Lovely Property don't bring a car

The property was lovely but the parking was problematic. It was not mentioned that there was limited space and only a small car could fit. After much debate they found a car space but charged us 50 euros although I had already paid for parking in the price of the let. Paid the money as I felt I had to. One way and pedestrian area ment very difficult to get back with the car to the apartment. Would not have booked if I had known before.

Excellent property in the heart of town

Sandra and Jacques speak excellent English and so our original enquiries were responded to quickly and the subsequent booking process was handled easily via email.

The apartment is equipped to a very high spec and in a great position in the centre of Annecy only a couple of hundred yards from the old town with its lovely old buildings and restaurants. We were spoilt for choice with boulangeries having at least 2 within a couple of minutes walk and even more on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday market days. There is also a small supermarket open all hours a couple of minutes away.

Annecy and the surrounding area is beautiful with lots to do. We had fantastic weather for our week so strolled for miles alongside the lake. Swimming in the lake was lovely and there is a 30km cycle track on a converted railway line along the length of the lake which was used by all sorts: Lycra clad serious cyclists, pensioners off to do their shopping in Annecy and families enjoying the weather and the views. It really was an excellent all round holiday 'package' in a beautiful area of France.

Carre Royale

My girlfriend and I had the most amazing stay at Carre Royale! Situated in the heart of town with only a 2 minute walk to the market at the old town suited our holiday requirements perfectly! Furthermore, we enjoyed 3 days of skiing at Semnoz in perfect weather situated only 30 minutes away via a bus ride. Not having a car was not an issue at all as the train station/bus station is situated a mere 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

The apartment itself was very modern with all the furnishings required to make for a very romantic and pleasant stay.

Our host, Sandra, was extremely helpful! She met us at the train station, showed us around the apartment and also emparted us with some very useful local knowledge.

I would highly recommend Carre Royale for a romantic getaway and will definitely be back!

Comfortable Apartment

My wife and I spent a

very enjoyable week in the apartment at Carre Royale. The apartment was very

comfortable and nicely furnished. The single tier dishwasher was a real bonus.

The apartment is situated in the middle of town and yet is very quiet, as is the

garden terrace. Sandra (the owner) was most helpful, her English perfect so our

lack of the French vocabulary wasn’t a problem. This made enquiries and booking

the apartment very convenient. Annecy itself is a beautiful place especially the

Old Town (3 minute walk from the apartment). There are plenty of shops,

restaurants and a market 3 times weekly. The lake is stunning and a boat trip a


The bus station and the train station are next to each other and only a

5 minute walk away. Buses run to the surrounding areas including Geneva. In

conclusion we felt the apartment was in the perfect location, close to all the

amenities but quiet when relaxing
