Everything you needed was contained within the cottage.
We were welcomed on arrival. The heating system was not working but we were given ample radiators and more were available if we needed them (which we didn't). The cottage was very clean, Everything needed for your stay was provided. It was centrally based for us as we were out most of every day but we enjoyed returning to the property in the evening. Annie and Andy were friendly and helpful and on hand if you wanted to know anything. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property or others on the site. This was our second visit and hopefully would like to return later in the year, but definitely next year.
Just what we wanted
Good value for money. Easy access to A38, which makes the moors & south coast very accessible. Well appointed & clean. Perfect for a couples week away. Annie was very helpful & friendly. The laundrette is useful. Peaceful location. We would definitely stay again.
A warm welcome from Annie led us into Fig cottage, an outstandingly designed conversion, with high spec. fittings and furniture and a wonderfully comfortable double bed. It was a pleasure for my wife and I to share a week in a great environment with the family owners on their smallholding
We went for a quiet week's holiday near Dartmoor and Fig cottage far exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and new and working. There is a high level of appointment with all conveniences in the kitchen and a very comfortable bed. It is quiet, peaceful, beautiful and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We strongly recommend it and will go back.
