Beautiful pool
Villa has a lovely pool, not over looked however some maintenance is needed in the garden the bougainvillea is beautiful but is over hanging steps as does the wisteria approaching on to the pool. It is in a quite area apart from the neighbour’s dog who howls like a wolf when ever it is left first few times is funny but after a while is a nuisance especially at 6.00am The villas itself was clean but unfortunately had a strong musky smell the owners had left air fresheners but they did not mask the smell so we brought strong fragrance diffusers. A number of lights were not working in the villa and the whole place was looking a bit tired. Basic pantry items were missing there was no salt and pepper. Had to contact the owner as could not find remote control for air con in lounge the owner reported back that it was broken quote ‘sorry that one is broken both work in bedrooms’ when asked if it was going to be fixed quote ‘no hadn’t bothered with it as it needs new unit on roof, (thousands) and never used it anyway’ This was disappointing as this was why we had booked the villa and was advertised with air con in lounge. The outside awning the handle was not left out for us to use we assumed it was either ‘broken’ or did not want us to use it. Moraira itself is lovely, 25 mins walk into town all downhill there are only 5/6 taxis operating a taxi back about 8 euros but there was always a queue. Magia Italian restaurant is worth a visit has a rooftop terrace overlooking the sea.
