Villa in Bang Po Beach,Koh Samui Island, Thailand - Peaceful Location, Beachside, Set In Lush Tropical Garden, Wifi Provided

The property is a spacious 2 storey Thai style villa located directly on the beach, complete with wifi. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. The master bedroom located on the first floor opens onto a large outside balcony with spectacular views of the beach, gardens and the Island of Koh Phangan. A twin-bed bedroom, main bathroom and separate lounge area are also located on the first floor. On the ground floor there is the third bedroom, second bathroom and separate toilet. There is a well equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge and dining area. A ground floor terrace at the side of the house overlooks the pool and gardens whilst an open verandah at the front of the house overlooks the garden and the beach. The verandah contains both lounge and dining areas. The villa is fitted with air conditioning and fans in all bedrooms and fans throughout the remainder of the property including the front verandah. There are mosquito nets in all bedrooms (even though mosquitoes are not a major problem, more a nuisance, they are fitted for guest peace of mind).The villa is built on stilts 50cms above ground and access is via 5-7 steps at three locations. Exiting the villa from the front verandah and walking less than 10 meters through the villa front garden takes guests onto a small private beach area that contains two beach loungers plus table and beach umbrella. A walk down 3 steps at the front of this area and guests are on the main beach of Bang Po.Other communal loungers and umbrellas are arranged along the beach for guest use.The beach in front of the villa is cleaned daily, There is a full time gardener working throughout the complex and a watchman on duty in the evening and throughout the night. Both a complimentary baby cot and baby high chair are available if required.

The villa has a manager who has an office located close by and who is fluent in English, German and Thai. He can provide a wide range of services to guests if required i.e. airport transfer, car hire, chef, tours etc. More details are included in the facilities section.

About Roderic Hull

I am a UK national now living in Thailand with my wife, having got married at the villa. I am a retired accountant having lived and worked outside the UK since 1989 in the Maldives, Bahrain and now Thailand. Earlier in my career I spent 15 years commuting into London to work, but having lived abroad for so long I'm not yet in any rush to return, and obviously owning this property makes it even harder.

Why Roderic Hull chose Mae Nam Beach

Koh Samui is a tropical paradise and I immediately fell in love with it on my first visit and decided to invest in property here.

I was fortunate enough to be offered this beachfront property, a case of being in the right place at the right time, for once in my life. I didn't hesitate in purchasing it.

Its main attraction is obviously having an almost deserted tropical beach on the front doorstep. Also it is located in a quiet part of the island and there is a nice mixture of local Thais and tourists in the area. However all the main attractions and tourist spots together with shopping and entertainment are only a short car journey away. You can drive right around the island in an hour, so nothing is that far away.

There really is something for everyone here.

What makes this villa unique

The main benefit of the property is obviously its proximity to the beach. Its general surroundings are superb, being set in lush tropical gardens with an excellent pool area.

The views of Koh Phangan and the National Marine park can be stunning and at times the sunrises and sunsets can be simply breathtaking.

Notes:
There is an in-house safe for valuables and travel documents. A fire extinguisher is located outside near the main entrance doors. There are no facilities for washing guest laundry either at the villa or on the complex. However, a laundry is located 100 meters away on the road, turning left and its on the left. Cost is Bt40-50 per kilo ironed. The Villa Managers office is located 200 meters away. His contact details will be given to guests prior to arrival. He is fluent in English, German and Thai and can provide the following services: 1. Airport transfer - Bt750 for a mini van and Bt550 for a car (3 persons). 2. Extra cleaning - Bt500. 3 Cooking/Chef - 2 staff plus 20% food cost. 4.Car rental - from Bt900pd. 5 Motorbike rental - from Bt180pd. 6 Fridge stocking prior to arrival - cost plus 15% minimum Bt2,000. 7 24 hour babysitting - Bt275 - Bt500ph depending on time. 8 Massage - Bt450ph. 9 Extra baby cot - Bt50pd. 10 Extra mattress - Bt75pd. 11. Driver/Tours - prices on request.

Idyllic place for a family holiday

This is a fabulous place to come to for a family holiday. We had three generations here and it was perfect for us all. The main decisions of the day were where we were going to swim - the pool or the sea and where we were going to eat - left or right on the beach! We had plenty of space for us all to hang out, but also get away from each other for a couple of hours to read and chill out.

This area is really away from it all, which is perfect when going as a family or a couple of families. It is the place to come to totally unwind and re-energise.

We will definitely be returning!

Perfect getaway

If you are looking for a quiet beach front location on busy Ko Samui then Bang Po is the perfect place and this is the perfect villa. The steps from the villa lead down to the beach and then another 20 paces and you are in the sea. The facilities in the villa are ideal for this type of location, 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms make it ideal for a family ( we were a family of 5). The villa was clean and tidy when we arrived and then cleaned twice a week during our 2 week stay.

Please note that its a 'laid back' beach holiday where the biggest decision was do we turn right or left on the beach for lunch.

Would recommend to friends.

More than a dream

Heaven?

A perfect mixture between peacefulness and still social live.

Surroundings with yoga,MuayThai,lovely small family restaurants as well as close to visit FourSeasons.

Incredible sea view,from the whole house,a dream to both fall asleep as to wake up to the waves,just 5meter to a swim in the sea.

And then a lovely walk on the beach

The children had a very fresh pool to play in.

House has everything we needed,great tvchannels if we were home,

And a fantastic Terrass to read a book or eat at.

Why not 5stars,because then it will be booked always and we can't come back to our paradise...

Usually i do not give an evaluation. But here i must du it.

Why i only give 4 Stars => simple, we want to come again :-)

The Villa and our time around the Villa complex and Koh Samui as well was awesome...

100% nice and in my eyes full points!!!

Thank`s very much to Roderick that he rent his Villa.

For party people it is not the right Object => go to Fishermans Village or Chaweng Beach.

If you are looking for a silent place with a amazing view to the sea => make your booking!

All the pictures is a exact copy what you will find on site after arrive.

The Villa is a part of a Villa complex.

Everything what you need is there. Kitchen is perfect. Room maid will come twice in a week to clean up and changing the Towels etc. Air condition is in every sleeping room => works super and very silent. Every day personal is coming for cleaning the pool and the garden area.

Bye night there is a security around. But it is really a save place.

We was in low Season here. Means there is nobody on the Beach. Maybe for somebody to silent ;-)

What about the location => another big WOW. Just go to the Beach and turn left. After 5 - 10 minutes there will come many restaurants with so good sea food.

ATM, Pharmacy, 7eleven shop and more is on the same position to get everything what you need or what you forget.

Rod is a perfect landlord. For every kind of question there will come very fast a good response.

After booking you have to pay 50% via a Bank Transfer. 4 weeks before you start the journey the other 50%. Here, i must say that i was a little bit confused and afraid to loose much money. But it works and it is safe because the complete email traffic is saved on the FeWo direct server - so you are insured...

After the full payment you will get the phone number from Albert - he is the Villa manger.

Albert - hmmmm who is Albert?!? For him my vote is more than 5 Stars.....

Albert was perfect and we will stay in contact for the future - became a friendship.

Some weeks before we was in contact via WhatsApp.

He speaks perfect german, thai and english.

He pick us up from the Airport.

Everything what you want to do - he is the person that can arrange everything. I hire the car from him with a good price and did a lot for me (to much to write it down here)

But again, thank you so much for my birthday evening.

Brillant what he did for me - never will forget this table on the Beach :-)

Le calme et la plage

Villa conforme aux photos, dans une résidence de maison très calme, piscine et jardin bien entretenus. Belle plage où l'on se sent privilégié tellement il y a peu de passage. Emplacement idéal si l'on veut rester au calme.

Le seul moins de cette maison est qu'elle est gérée par une agence, si vous voulez un transfert aéroport, une location de scooter/voiture, un tour, le propriétaire vous la conseillera. Cette personne est débordée, elle pratique des prix élevés sans négociation possible sur les tours et la location de voiture, plus de 30min de retard pour les transferts au port à l'aller et au retour alors que nous avions précisé être avec un bébé. Le chauffeur nous avouera qu'il venait d'être prévenu de la course.

Sinon les restaurants accessibles par la plage à 200m et plus sont très bons.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
