2 Bedroom Apartment in Porthcawl, Wales - 8 Min Walk from A Blue Flag Beach

A 1st floor apartment situated in the quiet Rest Bay area of Porthcawl. The accommodation comprises of one double bedroom and one twin with 2 single beds. A comfortable sitting/dining room a well equipped kitchen and spacious family bathroom. The nearby beach (8 min walk), Rest Bay, is a beautiful, sandy, west facing, blue flag beach on the ‘Glamorgan Heritage Coast’. At just over a mile long it offers plenty of opportunities for all-weather surfing on one of South Wales best known surf spots, safe in the knowledge that during the summer months there is a manned life guard station. It is also excellent for beach casting for Sea Bass, ‘rock pooling’ or just relaxing. For the golfer the area is well catered with four excellent courses including The Royal Porthcawl, probably one of the best courses in Wales. The flat is perfectly situated to enjoy the nearby Kenfig Pool Nature Reserve with its lake and sand dunes. It is also not far to the beautiful Gower Peninsular and Brecon Beacons.

I have been holidaying in Porthcawl since I was a lad. My grandparents had a house just down the road and holidays were spent on the beach rock pooling, building sandcastles and donkey rides, not much has changed! well maybe not so much sandcastle these days. I still love the beach and what ever the weather will go for a walk.

Having spent so many lovely holidays in Porthcawl as a child when the opportunity arose to buy a holiday place the natural choice was here. It's close to the beach and easy to get to.

It gives you the chance to get away from it all whilst still having good local facilities. It's a spacious apartment that still feels cosy and relaxed.

A well appointed home from home in a great location.

The apartment was clean and tidy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was easy to find using the owner's directions.

It was light and airy and the balcony was a much appreciated luxury.

Easy access to the beautiful Rest Bay beach within a five minute walk.

All in all, we couldn't fault it and would book it again.

Excellent Apartment

The booking process was simple and the owner Guy could not have been more helpful. The apartment itself is great: spacious with two good bedrooms, a large lounge and well equipped kitchen. Location is also good in a quiet suburban part of Porthcawl, a short walk from Rest Bay beach and five minutes drive to Coney Beach. Trecco Bay is another two minute drive and all their facilities are available to non-residents.

All in all, it beat staying in a pokey caravan, the kids loved it an with the M4 ten minutes away it was very easy to get to. Definitely recommended.

Nice apartment

We had a very nice stay, quiet area, close to the beach and other beautifull nature. The apartment was clean, big enough for 2 adult and 2 kids, nice and cozy.

Changeover Day:
Change over day is Saturday. Departure is before 10.30am and Arrival after 4pm.

Notes on prices:
Prices are based on Saturday to Saturday week bookings. During the low season (Sept-April, not inc. Christmas) we can do mid-week breaks if you would prefer, (a minimum of 3 nights) Prices start from £45 p/n.
