About the Owner

Hello, I'm Liz and have lived in Yorkshire for over 20 years. I have 3 children (18-22) and live with my partner Mark near Thirsk about 30 minutes away. We love York and spend a lot of time here.

We belong to a rowing club based on the Ouse near central York so our weekends often find us sculling or rowing through the beautiful city centre.

Having a city centre Pied a Terre so conveniently situated is great for us. All the delights of York are just on our doorstep.

We have equipped our apartment to a high standard and hope you will find your stay here as comfortable as we do!

This apartment was as described. It is clean, well lit, stylish with many amenities--including a washer/dryer. The parking pass that came with the apt was very useful for us. Liz is a very hospitable host who arranged to meet us in the parking area and direct us--over York's very labyrinthine streets back to her flat. Niceties include very comfortable sheets and beds; coffee, tea and milk in the fridge; a welcoming bottle of prosecco and a lovely cake too. As stated, it is very centrally located--we didn't need the car until we left York. I would recommend this flat without reservation. PS--reserve a table at the tiny Hairy Fig for lunch--you won't be disappointed!

Absolute perfect place to experience York

What a fantastic place and location. Our hosts greeted us and explained all the details needed to operate everything in the flat. The treats left for us were much appreciated. The information of places to visit were great as this was our first time to York and we only had a few days. We would recommend this place without hesitation. Lovely apartment with character in perfect location for seeing York. Very clean and welcoming

The apartment is very well presented, well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were met by the lovely owner on arrival who was very helpful and welcoming. Free wifi. Although we were in the centre of town the apartment was very quiet. It was a perfect base for exploring the city. We fully enjoyed our stay in York.

A lovely propert and owner in the best location!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and had the best time. You can not be anymore cental and the standard of the property is brilliant. I would highly recommend to anyone and I hope to visit again.

Excellent location and high quality flat.

The flat was delightful and superbly situated in the very heart of olde York but within easy walking distance from the train station and car park. It had plenty of space and absolutely everything we needed to make for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Plenty of eating houses adjacent and lots of sites and museums to cater for every interest. An absolute gem!

We would certainly return and recommend to friends.

Had the most wonderful stay in York and the icing on the cake was the apartment we stayed in.

The photographs do not do justice to the beautiful apartment. Very clean, comfortable and everything you could possibly need. The location is fantastic right in the centre of town. We had a birthday cake, chocolates and prosecco left for John and some fridge and breakfast products to start of our stay. The cupboards are full of items that you can use with a fab coffee machine too. I could go on all day talking about the apartment but think I may stop now in case it gets to many bookings and we don't get to go back next year 😊

It's probably the most central location possible - but really quiet. Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms give everyone space and privacy. We aim to offer very high quality and luxurious surroundings, reflected in our choice of decor, furnishings, equipment and extras. Clean means REALLY clean!
