Set adjacent to the coastal path in a picturesque fishing cove near Land's End, Carn Scathe is a spacious property with a terrace and large garden. There is a barbecue and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you feel like a walk then the South West Coastal Path passes by the garden gate and you can reach the Minack Open Air Theatre in 20 minutes or the sandy beach at Porthchapel in 10. The beach in Porthgwarra itself is just a few yards away. The cove features a cafe serving excellent coffee and Cornish pasties. Porthgwarra is a haven for birdwatchers and seals and dolphins are often seen. The house faces south so gets the best of the sun - sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine you'll feel there is no need to move from there! Attractions in the immediate area include the World Heritage Sites at Botallack, Levant and Geevor, art galleries such as the Tate in St. Ives and beautiful gardens such as Trengwainton.
