Wonderful & relaxing place. A perfect place to get rid of stress and enjoy. We had a lovely stay at Casa Roca. The house is perfect for a family holiday. oasis in Guaro

Great location for our stay in Guaro and a real plus to have the ideal size dip pool.Would be great for a small group of friends due to the lovely patio/party area. Guaro is a gem of a real Spanish village, very friendly locals and is the perfect platform to explore the treats of Andalusia.

Certainly helped us make the decision to move there permanently!

Wonderful place for a fantastic holiday

We had a brilliant two weeks here and really recommend it - it's really good value. It's a fantastic location - lovely village and quiet location. The outside space is incredible and the pictures don't do it justice. The inside is good too and the owners and thought of lots of little touches like games, cards and DVDs. We found the bedroom rather hot and that the ceiling fan wasn't enough in the August heat. However, when we found a fan downstairs which sorted it right out. Paco was super helpful and very forgiving of our rubbish Spanish. We went on day trips to Ronda and Malaga as well as staying overnight in Seville and Granada which we really recommend. Spain was amazing and we can't wait to go back!

Quiet paradise

We booked this house at the time to enjoy the LunaMora Festival which we had heard was very popular and so it was with the town totally crowded from about 6 in the afternoon to early morning . The house is a great place to stay , very comfortable and enjoyable on the terraces very quiet so if your looking for the bright lights forget it this is a place to relax a real home away from home. Guaro , after the festival is a very quiet village with good restaurants a bank ,post office and a few bars and the odd tourist. We enjoyed our trips to Fuengirola especially the golf at Los Lagos and a day trip to Malaga but the majority of our time was spent with a good book and doing nothing at Casa Roca thoroughly enjoying ourselves .This place is the perfect getaway however a car is essential. We will be back.

Dream place .. to dream in......

We made a quickie visit to get away from the English weather and celebrate 6th. of January which the Spanish do in fantastic style. Casa Roca as I think it is called is perfection, with a call-up local couple to fix in house Spanish meals, a super extra. It was quiet for the kids to sleep and yet all hours joyful in the main (one street) village with so much local culture to really enjoy and yet only a dash to either the beach, the Granada Ski slopes or - for hubby - Golf!! We shall definitely book again.

We purchased the property in Guaro because we fell in love with the village and surrounding areas. We feel that Guaro is Real Spain and the beauty for us is the friendly village which has not been greatly touched by the tourist industry. We have tried to make our house as warm and welcoming as we can, for you to enjoy and appreciate a little of what there is to offer.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Marbella 20 minutes drive, Fuengirola 40 minutes drive.

Travel:

Malaga airport 45 minutes drive. A car would be essential in this location

Distances:

Coin 10 minutes drive, Monda, 10 minutes drive, Rhonda 45 minutes drive,. Alhambra 2 hours drive. Sierra de la Nieves 1-1/2 hours drive.

Further Details:

From here you can visit the Mosque of Cordoba, the beautiful city of Seville and not forgetting Malaga, with it's Roman ruins and cosmopolitan atmosphere. It's always advisable to catch a train from Fuengirola to Malaga and why not visit the Pablo Picasso museum. Also there are many beautiful things to buy at the Sunday Markets in Marbella.
