Rosevean in Constantine Bay, Nr. Padstow, Cornwall, England - Located In The Heart Of Constantine Bay, Near Trevose Golf Course And Cornwall's Best Beaches

Rosevean is one of the dominant properties at Constantine Bay – a large and attractive house set in its own magical gardens of over an acre. Once inside the gates, you are very much in your own world – quiet and peaceful, with plenty of space both inside and out: 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, while outside a huge trampoline, climbing frame and beautiful gardens all make for a great experience. The house has been refurbished in 2013 and is now very smart and comfortable throughout. Stripped wood floors, thick carpets, comfortable beds and linen, top quality appliances and plenty of fun touches make a stay at Rosevean very special. With only a few minute’s walk to Trevose Golf Club and only a little longer down to the wonderful beach at Constantine Bay, Rosevean is one of the best houses in this fantastic and very popular North Cornwall area.

About Simon, Debbie or Kate at Raintree House Holidays

Raintree House Holidays is a small beach house letting and management company focusing on a handful of beaches down the coast between Padstow and Porthcothan. All our houses are within walking distance to one of these beautiful beaches and a large number have spectacular sea views. We let our owner’s holiday homes out to guests many of whom we have known for years. Holidays with Raintree will always be memorable and enjoyable as we manage all aspects of the houses ourselves. We employ our own cleaning and maintenance teams, this means we are very flexible and can achieve very high standards across all our houses.

A lovely location, house lacks finer touches

  • 3 of 5

A lovely house in a lovely location with a wonderful garden. Excellent for surfers, golfers and families, although decorated well with good quality gear, it is showing signs of wear with the main house being well thought out, the extended living room is very sparse, looks like someone started to decorate and then gave up, the nest of tables that have been glued back together was a shame and the frayed carpet didn't really go with the price. The garden was lovely, just don't look too close as the electric fence is a bit scary at the rear of the property (looks like it is for pest control) and the boggy area at the rear with the broken composter and dumped patio bricks gave our 2yr old a whole new world of fun and opportunity to wreak havoc. A nice place to stay, but if you have young kids; be prepared to watch them like Hawks as there are some risks present that could have been easily resolved by operator.

The beach at Constantine Bay is just 10 minutes walk away. Its a fantastic beach for surfing, swimming and sunbathing. Its huge, with plenty of space along the dune fringed sand to relax. Walking is amazing in both directions along the coast path. Treyarnon Bay is just next door, and Booby's Bay can be found at the north end of Constantine. There is also a plethora of other nearby beaches - Harlyn Bay, Mother Ivy's Bay, Trevone Bay and Porthcothan Bay are all within 15 minutes drive.
