Ideally located in the heart of Bugibba which is BUZZING WITH NIGHT LIFE IN SUMMER (June to September) and again PEACEFUL AND QUIET IN WINTER. Close to all amenities, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, Casino, souvenir shops, supermarket, bus station, perched sandy beach and rocky beach. Each room of this property comes with seaviews but the open-plan kitchen/dining/living room offers a cruise-like experience. Here, you feel as if you are on the deck of a cruise-liner watching the wake of the waves in open seas. Just wait till you get there and you won't believe your eyes! You can watch the sea as you are cooking, dining or lounging. It is just lovely to see the agitated Mediterranean Sea in Winter from the expansive views that this Apartment enjoys. In summer, it is equally enchanting to see the sunbathers basking on the perched sandy beach nearby or boat cruisers from the same apartment windows. All rooms are bright and airy, so if you prefer to stay indoors, you can still get your share of sunlight. If you do not like going out at night, just have a drink in the terrace and watch the fun and night-life outside from your own apartment. If you would rather not go to the beach just lie down in your balcony and soak up the sun in the comforts of your own home.

About Josette Mamo

My parents have been in the holiday apartment rental business for the past 40 years and about 7 years ago, I began to replace their role. I love this business as I love meeting tourists and getting to know them and their culture. It also helps me practice my knowledge of foreign languages. I was a Civil Servant in the past, but now I feel I cannot go back to my old job. I just love this job. We only offer seafront apartments as we want our clients to appreciate the relaxation that the sea can bestow upon us.

Why Josette Mamo chose Qawra

Well my father was in the building industry and he only bought the best seafront locations on which to build his apartments. Eventually he donated the air space to me, so I had the privileged to build a luxury seafront apartment right along the Bugibba Promenade.

Bugibba is peaceful and quiet in Spring, Autumn and Winter and bustling with sun, sea and nightlife in Summer. So it provides a combination of life's best things. Furthermore the apartment is centrally located, only 5 minutes walk to perched sandy beach, Bugibba Main Square, Casino, restaurants, tours, bus station, etc. What more can you ask fo?

What makes this apartment unique

The property is a seafront location. We are in the heart of Bugibba and just by standing in the front terrace of this apartment, you can see the Bugibba Main Square, St. Paul's Islands and Gozo beyond, you can see the perched sandy beach and the rocky beach, you can see people walking along the promenade without having to step out yourself. In actual fact you can see the world go by without leaving your Apartment.

What can I say,myself and 5 friends booked this apartment for a week in June. We arrived and was met by Josette, the owner. The apartment was stunning, beautiful, gorgeous, and any other superlative you can think of! Spotless, equipped to the highest standard, and the most beautiful views from the balcony. Sunsets to die for!!! We had the best week ever and myself, and my friends would go back to this stunning apartment in a heartbeat! Thank you Josette for allowing us a week of luxury in your beautiful "home from home"

Appartamento stupendo, arredo impeccabile, vista magnifica, proprietari super accoglienti!! Perfetto sia per famiglie con bambini (di fronte c'e' un park gratuito per i bimbi che delle spiaggette di ghiaietta finissima) che per i ragazzi in quanto vicinissimo al centro sempre vivo di Bugibba! A10 min a piedi e' presente anche una scuola di inglese per chi volesse fare vacanze studio! supermarket a 5 min a piedi! Consigliatissimo! grazie!

Stayed for a week in April with my husband and three children aged 6yrs, 11yrs and 12yrs. The apartment was ideally located on the seafront in Bugibba, a Maltese seaside resort. Restaurants and cafes were close by. A small beach was just opposite the apartment, but we generally went to the larger beaches at Golden Bay (half an hour on the bus). The bus terminal was a 5 minute walk away and staff there advised us which bus to use.The Island is very small so most places are easily accessible by bus. I would recommend visitors get on the bus at the terminal in Bugibba, as further along the seafront route the buses tend to get very crowded and a seat is not guaranteed. We enjoyed a day out in Valletta, I recommend ice creams from Cafe Cordina! The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival and equipped with everything we required for our stay. The kitchen appliances were all very modern and included a dishwasher and washing machine. All the bedrooms were very spacious. Josette was extremely helpful and booking arrangements were straightforward. I would definitely recommend the apartment, it has stunning views and is ideally located for a family holiday.

My guests just love my breathtaking seaviews. In Spring/Autumn/Winter, they love the peace and quiet of Bugibba and love to come over to our island for some Winter Sun. However, equally thrilling is the buzzing night life of Bugibba in the SUMMER months from June to September. Both land and sea take on a different dimension in summer, they just come alive!

If you prefer to swim in a swimming pool, many hotels nearby would accept non-residents for a small fee. Utility Room: No utility room, but the kitchen cupboard has a unit for stacking away cleaning utensils such as brooms, squeezers, mop and bucket. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bathroom, Shower Towels & bed linen are included. They are changed before your arrival and after your departure. Beach Towels not included, kindly bring your own. Property is cleaned just before your arrival and after your departure. Other: All rooms lead to a 35 meter long balcony with open sea-views.

A really nice, spacious, well equipped apartment in a great location

The apartment overlooks the sea and is a few minutes walk from the beach. The beach is a bit rocky but we found it ok. You can hire sunbeds & umbrellas.

The town is only 5 mins away with loads of decent bars and restaurants.

The apartment is really big with loads of room and even though there were 6 of us we never felt cramped.

The balcony must be 20 metres long so there is plenty of room.

It was a very relaxing holiday and I would recommend the apartment.

I must point out that the rocky beach has flat smooth surfaces, and then there is also the perched Sandy beach only 50 meters away from the apartment, from where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas and sunbathe on soft sandy. 5 star accommodation. Stunning sea views and sunsets. Everything on the doorstep.

We were a family of 6 and found the apartment spacious, very clean with beautiful views. Josette was first class and extremely helpful. The weather was extremely hot during our stay so we found a lovely swimming pool at The Euro Club,only 5 mins walk away where we only paid 7 euros per adult and half price for children. If you go after 2 pm the price is halved. They were also very friendly and welcoming. Lots of shops, bars, restaurants all on hand. We hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Josette!

Spacious views of St Paul's Bay

My wife and I stayed in this lovely apartment for 2 months starting in mid January. Our granddaughter accompanied us and we had a marvelous time. The views to the water were beautiful. The location next to the bus stop when returning to the apartment was convenient. Stores and restaurants close by. A great location from which to explore the historic sites across the islands. We were awed by the occasional winter storm that blew through. I now understand how the Apostle Paul was shipwrecked in the biblical book of Acts. But the few storms were a minor issue for the great time we had during our stay.

Although there is an elevator you must first climb a flight of steps from the street to get to the hallway where the elevator is located. With the amount of luggage we had, that was a chore.

Josette and her husband were gracious hosts who quickly accommodated any request and gave advice for travel and shopping. You will enjoy their hospitality and this view of the bay.

Great sea-front apartment.

A great apartment located directly on the sea-front in Bugibba. We stayed as a family of 4, but had originally intended to stay as a larger group. We liaised with Josette before booking & prior to arrival & always received a quick response.

The apartment is clean & airy & provides all the amenities that you would require & lots of room, the balcony is massive with 2 sunbeds & table & chairs, the balcony gets the sun all day long & gives a fantastic view of St Pauls Island.

There are all the facilities you could possibly want nearby, including grocery shopping, restaurants, bars & entertainment. There is a little man made beach opposite which is popular with local families with young children & gives easy access to the sea. The bus station is about 5 min walk away & you can always get a drink en-route.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone & will certainly consider staying here again when we return to Malta.

Just perfect

We were 6 adults staying in the apartment and it was just perfect. The accommodation was exactly as advertised and the furniture and appliances were of a very high standard. The views were superb and the location and access to the apartment were spot on. Josette was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurants nearby such as Venus, Victoria, Malet, and Whole Hog were not to be faulted offering a full spectrum of price and taste.However stay well away from Bistrotecha, I would not recommend it. They seemed unable to cope with the busy evening (Friday) service was slow, the food was mediocre (I sent mine back) and the manager was rude. Overall, our experience of St Paul's Bay was to be remembered and the apartment was crucial in our enjoyment. Well done Josette.

Just perfect

The apartment was completely as advertised and more. We were 6 adults and the facilities were above expectations. The location of the apartment was prime and the access good. Josette was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The furniture and appliances were tip top and the views from the apartment were superb. Suffice to say I would highly recommend this property and you can trust the advertising. The restaurants within walking distance of the apartment were varied and of good quality, except for Bistrotecha which should be seriously avoided due to lack of service, inefficiency and an extremely rude manager.

Car: not necessary


Only 5 minutes walk away to perched sandy-beach in Bugibba or rocky beach with lots of flat surfaces for sun-bathing. Many access points to the sea along coast. Bugibba Main Square, only 5 minutes walk away, also has a bay opposite with perimeters allocated for swimmers only. Mellieha Bay which has the largest, sandy beach on the island is only 1 bus ride away (30 minutes ride). Other beaches in North of Malta such as Ramla Bay, Armier or Paradise Bay accessible by same bus or 20 minutes car


Luqa/Gudja Airport is 18 km away from Bugibba, about 30 minutes by car.

You can reach Cirkewwa by bus in 30 minutes, and then board the Gozo ferry for 20 minutes. It is always faster to go to Airport by taxi. If you want to visit a lot of the island, car hire is ideal as it gets you to your destination in a shorter time. From July to September, Bugibba gets busy so you do not always find parking in the same street. May need to walk a little to find parking. Park in same street in Winter.


The Mediaeval City of Medina is 10 km away. Rabat 10 km away. The capital city of Valletta is 16 km away.

Supermarket is only 2 streets away. Lots of restaurants (offering international cuisine), shops and souvenir shops along the Promenade and Turisti Street (Triq it-Turisti). Bank in Bugibba Main Square, only 5 minutes walk away. Casino 5-10 minutes walk away. Bugibba Jetty for cruises around the island about 10-15 minutes walk away. Bus Station less than 10 minutes walk away. Nearest bus stop less than 5 minutes walk away. Pharmacy & Cinema 10 minutes walk away. Lots of water sports and diving schools in summer. Bugibba Water Park across the street. Splash and Fun Water Park in Bahar-ic-Caghaq or Popeye Village (Mellieha Bay), 30 minutes bus away. Booking Notes:
€200 Deposit per week's accommodation is requested upon arrival. This serves both as a Security Deposit and to cover water and electricity consumption, since the apartment comes with air-conditioning and also Jacuzzi bath. Electricity and Water Meters read upon arrival and again before departure. Total water & electricity consumed during your stay, and the cost of any damages made to apartment are deducted out of the Security Deposit of €200 deposit and settlement is made accordingly prior to departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. You may stay as long as you like in the apartment if no one happens to be checking in on that same day. However, if we have other guests coming on the same day, you would be required to check-out after breakfast.

Notes on prices:
From 1st January to 30th April 2017, at €75 per apartment per night, sleeping from 1-7 Adults/Children.
From 1st May to 31st October 2017, at €120 per apartment per night, sleeping from 1-7 Adults/Children.
