About the property


Porth Sands sit in perfect sympathy with their ocean front position. Traditionally built using natural materials and soft colours that compliment their environment. The apartments are newly built to a high specification to offer exceptional comfort. Ocean facing balconies with fully folding balcony doors. Porth village is the oldest part of Newquay offering peace and quiet while minutes away from the amenities and buzz of Newquay. Porth is a golden sandy beach protected by headlands making it the perfect place for swimming, body boarding, exploring rock pools etc. For those that enjoy a change of scene there are walks along the coast path, a breathtaking route of windswept cliffs, rocky headlands and deserted coves. If you have worked up an appetite, you couldn't be better situated. Watergate Bay lives up the road, home to Jamie Olivers Fifteen restaurant. With Padstow further East, the site of Rock Steins famous Seafood Restaurant.

Well maintained, spacious property with amazing views

Our time at number 10 Porth Sands was excellent. The balcony catches the sun in

the late afternoon/evening which was perfect for us as we could sit out once the kids were in bed. Kitchen has all utensils/crockery you need to eat in if you wish. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. You also get a little shed type structure (locked with key access) which is underneath the building before you come into the main entrance which was perfect for storing everything for the beach. It is so close to the beach, literally a 2 minute walk. Joy & Will are lovely and helpful if you need anything just ask! Their daughter also owns an amazing tea room just across the road from the apartment serving cream tea to die for along with many other amazing homemade goodies. Perfect location for a family due to the close proximity to the family friendly beach. We all loved our stay.

Sandy beach, steps away from the apartment. Family friendly beach, lifeguard on duty during the summer months. There is a dog ban in place Easter to October.

Lusty Glaze beach 10 minute walk is an activity beach. Watergate Bay and Fistral surf beaches are a short drive.

Coastal path perfect for short or long walks.


Most people arrive by car (A30) but Newquay airport is a 12 minute drive and Newquay Train station approx 2 miles.


Recent changes have ensured Porth is better connected than ever before easily accessible by car. Newquay Airport is only a 12 minute drive away.

Porth is ideally located for exploring Cornwall. Wether you're after the art and craft shops of the beautiful harbour towns of Padstow 12 miles, St Ives 31 miles, St Mawes and Falmouth or the surf shops, bars and night-life of Newquay and Truro.
