Villa With Private Pool & Stunning Panoramic Views

Updated: 21-Jun-2016
Secluded & Private Villa overlooking Ostra Vetere. Mature Garden & Olive Grove

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped family 4 bedroom villa (sleeps 10) with swimming pool. Two king sized bedrooms, one small double and one very large attic dorm with four/five or even six beds if wanted. The villa has fabulous panoramic views and is centered in 5 tranquil acres of garden and olive groves located in the patchwork foothills of the Appennines.

The location is really private, yet it is not isolated as it is only a few minutes drive to Ostra Vetere village or about a 20 min walk away. Ancona (Falconara) airport is just 40km away, either via the Autostrada/State Highway or via a scenic route cross country, both taking only ca. 35 - 40 mins. The nearest beach is in Senigallia (23km) famous for its golden sands. Other beaches all along the Adriatic coast.

About the Owner

My husband and I live in the UK and we have three sons. Over the years, together with friends and family, we have enjoyed many lovely summers and other holidays at our villa in Ostra Vetere, Le Marche. We have owned the villa since the year 2000 and now we tend to spend most of our time there in the Spring (when we get most of the gardening done) and again at the end of October/beginning of November for the olive harvest. Thus allowing the villa to be available for rental during most of the summer months.

- "It was really nice to meet you both and we had a wonderful holiday at your villa in Ostra Vetere. The scenery is stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed cooling off in your pool and visiting Portonovo beach, Urbino, Corinaldo amongst other visits. We also appreciated your book selection as it was a great opportunity to do some reading whilst on holiday. Thank you very much again."...email Aug '13

Very well equipped large villa in a beautiful setting

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed a restful happy break. The August weather was warm but positioned as it is on the top of the hill, afternoon breezes under the pine trees were a delightful experience. The large swimming pool was always the ultimate for the family to chill in. The owner's kind discrete hospitality was much appreciated

Location, location, location !!

A lovely villa in a stunning location with fabulous view. Quiet and peaceful if you can ignore the squeaky tractor of the farmer laboriously ploughing his field on the other side of the valley, he just about finished before we left! My grandson loved the sound of the bells from Ostra Vetere. An area somewhat off the beaten track, not heaving with tourists although the coastal beaches were full of Italians. Lovely villages and countryside - plenty to do and the main Square in Ostra Vetere was a lively spot in the evenings. But we spent our time around the pool enjoying the lovely weather. The villa had everything you need and the pool was cleaned every day. All in all a lovely holiday and a place we would consider returning to.

A haven of peace and tranquility

  • 5 of 5

This is our 2nd visit to this delightful villa. The grounds and garden are beautiful with breath taking panoramic views of the undulating and verdant hills that are typical of this region of Italy. The villa is exceptionally well equipped with a huge kitchen and everything you could possibly need. Great for a large group. The pool is large and there is ample parking space. The village of Ostra Vetere is small but lovely and a visit to Corinaldo ( gorgeous) is a must. Will definitely return to this idyllic place! The owners are incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating which made communication so easy and pleasurable. See the real Italy without any of the usual tourist traps. Excellent value.

This was our first time at the Villa via Valli and our first time in Le Marche. Party of 4. We all rent homes in Italy every year, frequently several homes in different areas.

The house, the grounds and the area is great. We are seafood lovers and Senegallia is a treasure. 30km away and consistently the finest seafood we've had in Italy. That's quite an achievement. With several Michelin starred restaurants and many cooks from those restaurants opening up their own locations, its a wonderland of excellent seafood. Note, you can safely ignore the big names. Anywhere we ate was superb. The difference being presentation and atmosphere.

Villa via Valli is equally excellent. Other than a home across the street, which is hardly visible, there is nothing other than a long vista above a valley to Ostra Vetere. Its very clean, gorgeously quiet, very well maintained and superbly comfortable for as many as 8 or more people.

You will need a car but an excellent supermercato is right down the road.

Highly recommended. This is one of the finest homes we've rented in Italy and will very likely do it for 2 weeks next year.

The real Italy

  • 5 of 5

A gorgeous rustic retreat in the middle of panoramic undulating countryside at every turn. Outstanding views, great local amenities, beautiful master bedroom with balcony. Huge kitchen and storage area with all the home comforts but still in keeping with traditional Italian country living. This house is ideal for large groups and entertaining and the owners have thought of everything to make the stay as easy, comfortable and enjoyable as can be. So easy to get to all the local towns, beaches and just a short 50 min drive from Ancona. A real home away from home and one that we shall most definitely be returning to. We really couldn't fault the property and beautiful grounds at all as it ticked all of our boxes. You will not be disappointed.

From the Owner

We all love the "True Italy" that Le Marche represents. Fewer tourists yet the people are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The villa is in a lovely rural and picturesque location about 1.5 km away from the centre of Ostra Vetere but one is not isolated and access to shops, supermarkets, banks, cafes and restaurants etc. is easy and within a few minutes drive. For hypermarket, larger weekly markets, restaurants, night life and evening city shopping, Senigallia is only 23km away. There is always a festival to go to somewhere to taste local cuisine and wine and experience how the Italians enjoy the "dolce vita".
