Cosy cottage with home comforts, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to nip to the shops!

Granite building dating back to 1852. Lounge, kitchen and bathroom newly refurbished to give maximum comfort. South facing garden catching the sun all day. Upstairs is a large double bedroom located in the front of the property, while at the back of the cottage is a twin bedded room which over looks the garden. the garden is south facing which means the sun is there all day till sunset. 8 minutes walk to the harbour and all the town life.

We live in Bristol but love St Ives! Its easy to do! We are so excited to be able to share this lovely holiday cottage with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We have a son who loves the place as much as us and it has been a family affair in renovating our lovely holiday home.

When we saw this property for sale we were so excited. Its in an ideal location. While only being 8 minutes walk from the harbour, its far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town life. Although it is in the town, when you are sat in the back garden you feel you are a million miles away!

Nearest Airport : Newquay Airport at 40 Miles

Special interest holidays:

The Tate Gallery is above Porthmeor Beach which is 15 minutes walk from the cottage. Along from the Tate is a beautiful coastal walk.

Coast/Beach:

The harbour is 8 minutes walk down into the town from the cottage, Porthminster being a gentle secluded beach, while on the other side of the harbour is Porthmeor Beach where the waves are perfect for surfers and the sunsets are the best!

Travel:

Bus and train stations are 10 min. walk from the cottage.

Distances:

St Ives is an ideal base for short journey visits to Land's End 18 miles; Penzance and St Michael's Mount, Marazion 8 miles; Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan approx 40 miles; Falmouth 28 miles and numerous villages and beaches within a short drive by car, bus or train. The train station is 10 min. walk, bus station is 5 minutes walk from the cottage. In the summer there is an open topped bus number 300 that travels around the coast and countryside allowing you superb views of both.

Further Details:

Restaurants are plentiful in St Ives ranging from cheap and cheerful to gastronomic experiences to delight your taste buds!

  • Notes on accommodation: We are proud to offer our holiday home to families that love Cornwall and especially St Ives, it is warm and comfortable, just like home from home! We do not allow smoking anywhere inside our holiday home. Outside: Our garden has been transformed into a sunny safe haven. It has a washing line, garden furniture and a sea view. Being a south facing garden it has the sun all day! Utility Room: Washing machine is located in the utility area by the back door. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen is supplied for the beds and tea towels but you need to supply your own personal towels.
