Hi My name is Martin, I started coming to Amble about 20 years ago with my two sons, fishing and boating was the main attraction for us. In 2007 I purchased Bay View, which was in need of a major face lift, so I set about the task in hand with a help from some friends. It was completed in 2009 and has been popular ever since. The son are grow up now, but when ever the house is empty we try are best to use it. Amble has changed over the years but the people are still freindly and helpfull

Booking Notes:
The cottage is available all year round.
Short breaks are available on request a minimum of 3 nights stay during the months of November, December, January, February excluding Christmas & New Year.

Changeover Day:
The preferred change over day is Friday, Arrival times are between 2 and 4 in the afternoon, arrangements can be made if outside these times, departure is no later 10 O'Clock in the morning (all the above times are flexibly please contact owner).

A great place to stay

A very well equipped house in a lovely location just across a little road from the beach. Had a lovely meal at the Fish Shack overlooking the sea and really enjoyed a boat trip round Coquet Island where we saw masses of seals. There is loads to see and do in the area but because the weather was so lovely we spent a lot of time on the beach. The children (and adults) enjoyed messing about with the water feature and dams on the bay round the corner. Would definitely recommend the house and Amble to anyone wanting to stay on the Northumberland coast. Amble is a very friendly place to stay.
