Vale do Lobo has a wealth of facilities for all the family and is particularly good for keeping teenagers busy! Golf, tennis, spa, beach, restaurants and night club - all close by.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The main resort beach at Praca is a 15 min walk from the villa (or a 5 min drive), sunbeds can be hired here and there is a lifeguard in summer. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants at Praca and 2 small shops. Julia's Restaurant is within walking distance along the beach and a little further takes you to Maria's and Izzy's restaurants at Dunas Douradas, (10 mins by car). A quieter area of the beach is only 500m from the villa, a short walk along the edge of the 16th fairway.

Travel:

Vale do Lobo is approx 20 mins drive from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended although taxis are easily available in the area.

Distances:

The nearest small town is Almancil, 10 mins drive from the villa. The golf resort of Quinto do Lago is a 10 min drive. The old town of Faro is within 20 mins by car and there is also a large shopping mall, Forum Algarve, on the way into Faro.

Further Details:

The supermarket at the entrance to Vale do Lobo is 5 mins by car although they do have a delivery service. The shopping centre at Quinto do Lago, Bouganvilla Plaza, with supermarket, designer shops, bars and restaurants and the Apolonia supermarket in Almancil are no more than a 10 min drive from the villa. There are lovely beach-side restaurants at Dunas Douradas and Quinta do Lago, all within a 10 min drive.

Vale do Lobo itself has 2 championship golf courses as well as tennis academy, driving range, gym, spa and crazy golf. Children's entertainment is organised during the summer months.

The villa is located close to the Club House yet only a short distance to the beach and Praca. It enjoys fabulous views over the the golf course in a private location. A short stroll along the side of the fairway takes you down to a quiet area of the beach.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: All rooms have air conditioning for both cooling and warming. The bedrooms all have fitted wardrobes. There is an electric awning over part of the pool terrace and on the balcony of the master bedroom. There are 2 small safes in the villa. Cots, high chairs and stair gate are available on request. Please note this is a villa for non-smokers. Outside: The villa is surrounded by gardens on all sides, giving plenty of choice for relaxing in the sun or shade. There is a private pool, (10m x 5m), which can be heated at and there is a pool cover. The rear gardens and pool face south west and there are sun loungers, sun umbrellas, comfortable low chairs with coffee table for relaxing and an outdoor table which seats 8. There is a gas BBQ (and sink) under the shade of a pergola. The garden is a mix of lawns and flower beds and there is a tiled area around the pool. There is a car port to the front of the villa. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen, towels and beach towels included. Linen changed weekly, towels changed 3 times per week, beach towels changed weekly. Villa cleaning is 3 times per week. Other: Spacious entrance hall, marble staircase to upper floor with tall windows looking over the pool and gardens.
