This newly decorated apartment is on the ground floor of a two storey block with entrance door off the private terrace. Inside it is clean, modern and filled with light from the double glass doors to the private terrace and garden area. The furniture is stylish and the apartment has all the necessary equipment and amenities for a relaxed self catering holiday plus air conditioning units in the main rooms. The RioMar 13 gated development has 6 blocks of apartments, each has 2 storeys and in total there are approximately 90 apartments in the development surrounding a large shared swimming pool with Jacuzzi and shallow area for children. There is a small children’s play/park area and an indoor games room/community room. This is a quiet development with most apartments owner occupied and around a quarter let for holiday rentals.

Marvellous holiday

A absolutely fantastic holiday apartment, I've already rebooked it for mid August 2016, one of my favourite places to visit is Cartagena a beautiful navel city.

The areas blue flag beaches are something else loved every minute of my stay. Don't forget lo pagan with its natural hot mud spar great fun for all the family

Fabulous apartment and value for money!

We spent a fantastic week at this apartment in April 2014,and the weather was just glorious! The apartment and complex was fantastic value for money, the apartment had air conditioning, uk TV channels,2 bedrooms with ample room for the kids with DVD s supplied to entertain us if needed. The pool and jacuzzi area was we'll kept, and not over busy, yet the kids had plenty of friends to play with in the day.

We hired a car, but only really used it at night to explore nearby towns were there was plenty of things to do for both adults and kids .

Eating out was both value for money and of a good quality,with the local bars and restaurants only 2 min drive or 10 min walk away.

We had a great choice of beaches available too ,and found a different one to travel to most days, yet all within 10 min drive from the apartment.

Local supermarket was only 2 minute drive,and a carrefour much larger one only 10 min drive away were the choice was as good as any uk supermarket and value for money.

To sum up we feel this part of Spain offers fantastic value for money, and this Apartment we would definitely recommend to other families.We will be re visiting!

Excellent Value

We stayed as a party of four adults and one infant in this apartment and it was everything that it says in the description. The apartment is a good size and is well appointed and comfortable and has satellite TV with English channels which helped keep the little one interested while we got organised to go out. The complex was quiet whilst we were there as it was early May, but we understand from talking to some of the residents that it is extremely popular and busy in the main Summer months.

The pool is a good size with a Jacuzzi and a children’s section and is set in a grassed area.The nearest place to eat out is a pizza restaurant about a five minute walk from the apartment. There is a further choice of restaurants about fifteen minute’s walk away adjacent to the beach, all of which are reasonably priced and there is also a small supermarket about a hundred metres up the road from the beach. The beach is very good and is kept clean. There are a couple of larger supermarkets about five minutes drive from the apartment where you can get everything you need for a self-catering holiday.

We would definitely stay at this apartment again.

Wall to wall sunshine

We booked this at the very last moment. The owners are extremely helpful and do everything to make booking easy and problem free. The accommodation had everything we needed and was as described. Good security and excellent ground staff always willing to help. During our stay we visited the local beach a two minute drive away which was clean, safe and sandy. The local restaurant five minute walk was reasonably priced. More local restaurants close by and supermarket. If you want to just stay put for a day the swimming pool on the complex is large with a jaccuzi. Recommend visiting Cartagena, Elche and Santiago de la Ribera. Ideal base if you just want a beach holiday, but hiring a car is worth it if you want to go further afield and not much more than the price of taxi to and from airport.

Coast/Beach:

10 minutes walk to beach, this part of the coast has around 5 kilometres of sandy beaches and if you walk a little further down the pedestrian strip built along the beach there is an area of the beach with loungers and parasols for hire.

Travel:

The apartment is 15 mins drive from San Javier (Murcia) airport and 40 minutes from Alicante, we can provide a driver to collect you from either airport for a fixed charge who can even take you via the supermarket for supplies if requested.

Car hire is not essential but if you wish to explore further afield or are staying for golf a car is recommended and a private parking space is available in the underground car park of the development.

Distances:

Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Pilar de la Horadada are the closest towns being a 5-10 minute drive away.

Torrevieja is approximately a 25 minute drive away.

Outside: The apartment has an outdoor terrace off the lounge, the terrace is tiled with a step down to a private garden area with astro turf surrounded by hedging for privacy. There is an outdoor table and chairs. The development has landscaped gardens with large lush areas of grass around the pool with plenty of space for sun loungers. The shared pool is not heated but large (approx 25m) and has a Jacuzzi area and shallow kids pool. In the grounds there is a children's park with play equipment, a communal games room and the development is very secure being gated with 3 locked access gates, a key is provided for guests. Utility Room: The apartment has a locked storage cupboard with 2 sets of golf clubs and 2 bicycles, the key can be provided for guest use if required. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are provided, changed weekly when the apartment is cleaned. Other: The apartment has one parking space in the underground car park, access key to car park can be provided on request if you have a hire car. The windows and glass doors are shuttered and the windows have decorated grilles for security but can be opened.
