A family weekend away

  • 4 of 5

The property was exactly what we wanted and lived up to our expectations. The facilities were ideal for our 3 generation family of 6 adults and 5 children for a 3 night weekend.

Leanne, the housekeeper, met us on arrival and showed us around and gave us all the information we needed about the house, and saw us on our way at the end f our stay.

If you are expecting a very modern interior, you will be disappointed, but if you like a Victorian large roomed property with some original features, you will be delighted. The house is warm and comfortable, with space to spread out, beds are good, and the kitchen has everything we wanted in abundance, There has clearly been money spent on the décor in many parts of the house, but with such a large property, there is always more that needs to be done.

We split into families to go out and about and found things for every bodies taste in both Bath and Bristol,

Easter was fabulous

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful. Many thanks for sorting us out within 24 hours notice having been let down by a different property. The family had a great time and were never out of the pool. The hot tub was "hot" and all rooms were well equipped and relaxing. The atmosphere was homely and indeed the house was very warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even had lunch outside as the weather was kind. Many thanks

Great hen party, great house

  • 5 of 5

12 of us recently enjoyed a fabulous hen weekend at Brockham House. It was perfect for what we wanted, clean, comfy beds, very social living space, pool and hot tub. great facilities. Olive who we booked with was very helpful, as was Leanne the house keeper. Olive also gave us a number for a mini bus firm (Jason and his fab mum Jill) who organised taking us to and from Bath at a very reasonable price, and happily suffered us all!! Bath was great and not too far from the house. (Bristol is equally as near). As from previous experience if you hire a house in Bath then parking is always an issue, so hiring this house made it very easy. Would use the house again. 😀
