Our holiday home for rent in Spain is a beautiful detached villa set in the foothills of Mijas in Andalucia. Ideally located in the peaceful countryside behind Mijas Golf, and still only a 10 minute drive from Fuengirola and the beach. Located halfway between Marbella and Malaga airport, both a half hour drive away. Ideal for golfers with Mijas Golf on your doorstep, and all the other golf courses on the Costa del Sol. Perfect for people who love the countryside, and families looking for a quiet retreat and a place to relax in and unwind. The location could not be better. It is very rare to find a house that feels like it is deep in the peaceful countryside whilst still being so close to the beach and town amenities.

I have lived in Spain since I was a child. Spain is very much home to me. I love the sun and the relaxed Spanish lifestyle. I enjoy eating out, playing a wide range of sports, and going to the beach.

Such a wonderful country retreat! It was so quiet with no neighbours. Just the peaceful break we needed. We took walks in the country side every day and we were a short drive away from the beach and all the wonderful things that the Costa del sol has to offer.

The nearest beach is 7.5km away. It takes about 10 minutes to drive there. The nearest beach is Fuengirola but there are sandy beaches all the way from Malaga to the other side of Marbella and beyond.

Then there is another double room and two twin rooms. One of the twin rooms has fitted wardrobes. All the bedrooms have direct access to a terrace.

  • Outside: The private swimming pool is kidney shape and is about 8m in length and 4m in width. Utility Room: Large load washing machine, large load tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house is delivered to the tenant clean with clean towels and clean made beds. There is no linen or towel changes or maid service during the stay. Bathroom towels are provided but no pool side towels. All extras can be arranged at an extra cost. Other: Also there is a study with large desk and two chairs and a playroom that has a sofa bed (double).
