About the Owner

We are Tally and Bob. This is our family home for most of the year, however we always rent it for the summer as a holiday let and occasionally Easter and Christmas. Whilst we remove our personal belongings it still retains the warm feeling of a real home, compared to some more clinical feeling holiday let properties.

We hope you enjoy the space as much as we do.

The perfect find.

  • 5 of 5

So chuffed we stumbled on Agan Chy. A truly stunning house that suited us ( a family for 4, kids 7yrs & 9yrs) down to the ground, from the large private garden, comfy beds, large shower, beautiful views, right down to the books on the shelves and the pictures on the walls! The house had everything we needed and was the perfect cozy base to explore some great walks and the kids body boarding (even in the rain,) everyday at Sandymouth beach just down the road. Don't forget your National trust card if you have one to save on the parking charges. Our week was mainly spent bodyboarding, walking, geocaching, mountain biking, ice cream and fish & chip eating!

The house was very well maintained and clean with towels and bed linen provided.

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house.

Location

From the Owner

We designed and built this property ourselves, which allowed us to really create a beautiful modern but cosy feeling space. The property is built using natural materials and bespoke fittings, creating a healthy, light and open space, which requires very little energy to run. The construction is based around a green oak frame, with walls constructed from hemp and lime, clad in locally grown larch wood. The area is stunning and unspoilt, with ranging views across the countryside to the sea, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We love living here in the peace and wilds of north Cornwall, with beautiful walks through woods and along the coast, away from the larger crowds of Bude.
