High quality, quiet, rural location

  • 5 of 5

Just returned home from a wonderful week in this property. The house is exactly as described, beautifully clean and well equipped. Fantastic location for discovering the area, beaches, countryside and cities all within 30 minutes drive. A week was not enough to see everything. Cycling around the area was an absolute joy.I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to Julia for the excellent directions and making this holiday so easy to organise

A lovely spacious property in an excellent location!

  • 5 of 5

We were a family of five holidaying with grandparents.

We found the house very spacious and comfortable. It is in a very secluded location but is not isolated which we found comforting. (The spacious garden at the rear is not overlooked at all.) The neighbours always waved and smiled and us when we saw them on our many evening walks.

We chose to walk to the recycling centre in La Trinite so we could enjoy the charming rural location and experience the wildlife and livestock along the way!

The house is very conveniently located to explore the many good towns and beaches nearby. We found all of the recommendations from Julia (the owner) to be very good and useful. We had a really wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property.

Fabulous hideaway

  • 5 of 5

We found this property easily and had a wonderful stay, it's such a beautiful peaceful location. The sheep next door were an added bonus for the children who found them very entertaining. The house is spacious and stays cool during the summer heat and has everything you might need. I recommend the beach after Kairon Plage away from Julouville that is far less crowded than the others and the nearby town has an excellent swimming pool with a flume that kept our children (5 & 7) entertained for hours on a cloudy day.

Owner's Response: Hi Emma, We're so please that you enjoyed your stay and were comfortable in the house. We can't always guarantee sheep unfortunately but there is usually some type of livestock grazing in the fields, typically sheep or horses. With regard to beaches, we have always loved them as they are so safe for children as the water stays quite shallow for such long distances. We've now become very french and always go armed with a small rake and buckets to harvest the delicious clams from the sand once the tide is out - handy tip for your next visit to such beaches! Kind regards Julia

Home from home

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this beautifully renovated barn conversion. The house easily accommodated our 2 young families; 4 adults and 4 children aged 8 months to 9 years. The house was extremely well equipped and the dishwasher and laundry facilities were an added bonus for us. The garden and paddling pool meant that the grown ups could relax in the sun and the games cupboard enabled us to have a lazy day indoors when the weather was not so glorious! The location is beautiful, not far from a number of sandy beaches and Villedieu is an attractive town which provided all the amenities we needed during our stay. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

FANTASTIC

  • 5 of 5

Just back from a week at Le Pont.

What a great place. The property is beautifully renovated, clean and very well equipped. Outside is a very large patio with superb garden furniture. The property also has a large garden.

The location is great, rural, yet still within easy reach of all attractions.

I would not hestiate recommending this property to family and friends.

Booking was simple and communication with owner very pleasant.

great house and location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at le pont. The property was a lot bigger than we imagined and easily held the 4 adults and 2 teenagers in our party. The property is very well equipped and the best self catering house we have stayed at in France. The house is ideally situated to visit all the great places of interest in Normandy and Brittany. My children played in the large gardens and we all enjoyed walks round the area. I would recommend this property to anyone.
