Spacious Ground floor 2 bed-roomed apartment, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. A large open planned living area. Satellite TV with WiFi, Kitchen with all amenities including a washing line in the solana area attached to the kitchen. A corner apartment which is part of a small residential complex with a terrace view of a lovely shared pool and private parking space adjacent to the front door. 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and a less than 10 minutes stroll from the beach.

We picked Costa Teguise as it has a bit of everything. Friendly bars, great restaurants, beautiful coastline, choice of water sports and plenty of places of interest. All within a stroll, cycle or short car journey.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is only 15 minutes from the airport, and is only 1 of 25 apartments that is only the residential complex so is not full of holiday makers. The perfect place to relax and unwind.

4 stars, this apartment is on a very quiet complex and is equipped to a very high standard, it is large and immaculately clean. Dave and Sally can not do enough to ensure you have an excellent break. The lounge overlooks a private patio with extensive sea views. Various shops and bars within two minute stroll and the beach no more than 10 minutes stroll with huge choice of bars and restaurants. We will definitely be returning. Steve March 2013.

We have stayed at this complex before so knew what to expect. The apartment provides for every need a budget conscious family. The beach is 10 mins walk, which has water sports and bike hire. My husband particularly liked the fact that could bring his bike and had a separate secure area to keep it. The pool is a great asset as you are usually the only family using it !!!

Fab week in lanzarote

Great location,apt was near enough to walk to the beach and restaurants.

The apt is clean and has everything you need to self cater if you so wish.spa shop only five minutes away.

Highly recommend touring the island.especialy the cesar manrique sights.

Pick up a free map at the airport.

Only gripe was not enough towels.

Would recommend as will probably return.

Could improve....

I felt lucky to book this given the current guests left a week early... I think I now know why they left. After trying to pay via Paypal which showed I had paid but it did not go through in time I was happy to then pay cash... but despite a comfy bed I felt I had to alert the owner ( since I too am an ownersdirect owner) about the lack of water pressure in the entire apartment meaning we got no cold water which made bathing in a broken shower and cleaning teeth beyond challenging with steaming hot water at all times. The pool also stank of sewerage with green gunk on its walls which meant we could not use it. I thought I might get a quick response given our concerns but the owner failed to respond at all until we were leaving some 7 days later and that was only because I sent her a courtesy message to say we could not leave both sets of keys where suggested as we had only been provided 1 set. You got the impression she could not care less. Shame. Had she responded immediately you may have felt differently but there you go. Book with caution unless she tells you all issues have been remedied.

Comfortable, spacious and very well equipped

Having just spent a week in this apartment I agree with everything reviewer Peggi said previously*. This apartment is comfortable, spacious and very well equipped with everything you need to make it a home-from-home. The pool area is lovely and kept immaculate. Off-road parking for your hire car right outside.

Handy shops, bars and take-ways are just across the main road, with the main ‘strip’ and beach of Costa Teguise only 5-10 minutes walk (plus plenty of free parking there if you want to nip down in the car). Still peaceful at night despite being close to the action.

If you’re self-catering like us a tip is to buy your groceries from Lidl in Arrecife, which is right next to the IKEA you can see on the way from the airport. Only 10 minutes in the car and much cheaper than supermarkets in Costa Teguise.

Being in the middle of the island Costa Teguise is handy for visiting both the north and south of the island, both of which have worthwhile attractions. The highlight of this trip was Lagomar (amazing Manrique-built cave house in Nazaret) and the rocky lagoons just south of Orzola, very shallow and great for younger kids to swim and snorkel.

Would definitely stay here again and would be back next week if we could… although more likely next summer!

* Except for – we were able to get many channels on the TV – use ‘source’ on the TV remote to select ‘HDMI’ and then use the set-top box remote to go up and down through the channels. Still only a few worth watching though!

Spacious, Well Equipped Apartment with Parking & Pool

Nice spacious apartment in lovely area. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Car parking and pool were great to have. Lots of storage for clothing and utility room with washing machine & washing line were very useful.

We had a great stay in this apartment and look forward to returning in the future.

The only thing that was missing for me was Wi-Fi as I like to use internet on my laptop on an evening but couldn't as didn't have Wi-Fi. If this could be incorporated into the apartment it would make a fabulous stay into a superb stay.

Wonderful Holiday

As arranged, we were picked up at the airport , taken straight to the apartment, given the relevant information on both the apartment and the area. Thank you David.

First the apartment - so much larger than we imagined, very clean, the linen and towels of good quality, the kitchen fully equipped with every utensil needed and more, a large fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, small table if you want to eat in the kitchen - there is plenty of room.

The thing that I really appreciated was the large utility room with washer and large line. Also the collection of books of all genres. Ideal!

The lounge is large with dining table at one end and two very comfortable and full length couches at the other. The tv. was fine, but we could only get about 5 or 6 channels on. Didn't bother us at all because we tend to read more than watch telly, but if you like to relax with tv, there is a dvd player.

We slept well, the beds are comfortable, the room warm and quiet and (thank you Sally) the duvet was just right!

Bathroom is large, the bath a little low which I think is the norm. (I think a bath handle would be useful) The shower is over the bath and has a good, powerful spray.

The balcony has chairs and table and there are beds in the utility room. We went in January and at that time the sun is on the balcony from early morning until about 4-o-clock. I think later in the year it would be longer.

There are a few restaurants in the immediate area, but we found the best were in the centre (again a steady walk of 15-20minutes. There is a Spa supermarket within a few metres of the apartment. (good steaks there -entrecote were the best.)

Cactus Jacks is a large restaurant and bar with regular shows and football. We went twice and it was ok, but noisy in the week (loud music) and the food is very basic. There is also a mixture of quieter bars and restaurants.

There are good walks, fairly flat, particularly the walks around the harbour and along the coastal path. The Toledo restaurant in San Bastian Bay is ideal for a lunchtime snack, has good views over the bay to Arricifee and also has a restaurant with a wide choice of meals.

I think if you are looking for a totally relaxing holiday, it's ideal, if you are into windsurfing, love to spend the day on the beach, enjoy eating out, you can't beat this area.

Finally, I can find nothing but good to say about this apartment and also Dave and Sally, who were extremely helpful.

Lovely Holiday Location

Myself and my husband stayed at the apartment for 1 week at the end of June 2014. We had a lovely week. The supermarket is close by (you can see the Spar from the patio area of the apartment). We found the apartment to be great, the kitchen had all the possible things you need and in the Solana you will find sunbeds, cushions and the parasol for the patio furniture. I was surprised by the 32 inch television which isn't shown in the picture, but we only watched about an hour of TV for the duration of our holiday. My husband enjoyed the golf at the local club. Expect to pay 6 euro way and a little tip helps. Some taxi drivers are nicer than others as well. This was our second time to the Island as previously we stayed at Club Timanfaya - this apartment is closer and much much nicer. We will definitely be back one day, although the other half would like to try the other golf course in Puerto Del Carmen. Try the Submarine Dive - we did and loved it. I would of given 5 stars, but the mattress was a little hard, but everyone is different so not everyone can be pleased. All in all a great place, great location and maybe a suggestion for a visitors book where we could share ideas on places to visit / useful information? As for restaurants we left a couple of menus - La Otra for Pizza is amazing. Beijing Chinese buffet Chinese is really lovely. A big thank you to David for the taxi transfer and also thank you to Sally. A shame to come home really.
