Beach Lodge is a semi-detached house built in 2013, one of a small number of properties which is lucky enough to be on level walking distance to Harlyn beach. Harlyn Beach is just a stone’s throw away, just set back from the hump back bridge - it really is just yards away. Its a perfect base for family holidays, nipping back and to the beach, walkers and couples looking to get away and relax. There are some amazing costal walks either towards Trevose Head or towards Trevone which leads to Padstow. Trevose Golf and Country Club is a mile away, with its champion course, tennis court’s and a fabulous heated outdoor pool in the summer.

Beach Lodge offer's 3 bedrooms, Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor with a double bed and en-suite shower room, bedroom 2 has a small double and single bed which can push together to make a large double. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. The is also a sofa bed in the snug, which has a TV and nintendo wii. The decor is neutral and clean. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The family bathroom is white and clean with a tiled floor. There is a stair gate fitted and a good cot and highchair for guest to use at the property. Its a comfortable home and we have had many repeat bookings.

Outside the garden is a lovely sheltered sun trap, the decking out the front is beautiful on a sunny morning to enjoy breakfast or a late lunch on. The garden is secure and is gated making it safe for children and dog’s. Dogs are very welcome and there is no additional charge for them, Harlyn beach is one of the few beaches in the area which dogs are allowed on all year.

There is private parking shared with one other property, huge oak gates make it a secure and private area.

Very enjoyable short stay

The cottage is a great location very near the beach on a fantastic part of the North Cornish Coast.

We were with friends over from Australia so wanted warm and cosy. Not disappointed, Maria had the heating on with a cake and complimentary provisions waiting for us.

The cottage is well laid out and equiped for 2 couples or a large family.

We will want to return to experience summer there.

Perfect stay!

A really lovely stay and a perfect property for our holiday. It is ideally located and just on the beach, with amazing walks. The property itself has all the needs of the guest, the rooms are clean and decorated to a lovely style. We could also take our dogs, who with the enclosed garden were completely safe.

Maria has been nothing but helpful and our stay definitely won't be our last as we have found a lovely cottage for another perfect holiday!

Home From Home

We have been staying at the Beach Lodge for a number of years. The location is amazing with the beautiful Harlyn Bay beach just a minute walk away and a great pub to the side. The owners are always welcoming and on hand if needed. The Lodge is homely and very clean with all the creature comforts you could require. We always take our small dog along as the Lodge has a secure garden with plenty of space and we have our own secure parking space. Tina and Jamie (Leicestershire)

Great place to stay with children

Had a super stay here, perfect place to be able to relax with small children, has everything you need, high chair, cot etc. Great location only a few minutes walk from the beautiful Harlyn bay, again ideal if you need to nip home.

FANTASTIC

Please, please pay no attention to any negative reviews on this property! I have stayed here twice and each time was superb. From the location to the attention to detail was always 100%.

The owner is always polite, curteous and always able to help with any queries, wether it be about the area or when I couldn't work the kettle - yes, I'd not plugged it in but thats not the point, as nothing was too much trouble for her.

The house was clean, beds comfortable and the garden is well looked after also.

All in all this is a great place to stay on holiday and we can't wait to go back again next year.

AVOID LOVELY LOCATION SPOILT BY LACK OF CARE

Shame lovely property spoilt by lack of care by owner.

Left list with the problems owner has not bothered to make contact.

Lights x7 not working inside and outside

Sewer smell in bedroom and shower room(broken floor tiles in shower room/ tray blocked not emptying and overflowing) signs of excrement on shower room wall.

Upstairs mattresses worn out and unusable

Paint peeling on bathroom wall.

Cracked and chipped crockery.

You stayed in my home for 1 week in October, BUT at no point during that time did you call me, email me or even tell the caretaker with whom you spoke to in the driveway you had any problems at all. We have let our home for 3 years now and have NEVER had a complaint about our home. Many guests book year after year. The guests the week before you had no problems, the guests in now wish to book for next year whilst still here. I am very upset by your review, and have called you which didn’t achieve anything as you didn’t allow me to talk on the phone. I take pride in my property and for you to write the things you have about my home is simply not fair. To any of my guests that have been before I hope you will support me in saying that the above is not correct. To guests looking to book, I can assure you that my home at Harlyn is a very clean comfortable place to stay.
