The apartment has all that could be needed for a relaxing holiday on one of Europe’s beautiful coastline. The location itself cannot be faulted sitting on a high vantage point offering views of an amazing beach, with rock pools and coves. Each room exits onto the large terrace which enjoys sunshine from early morning to mid afternoon. The apartment truly is a home from home coming complete with all conveniences you would expect, including free WiFi and all UK TV channels. Access to beach level is provided via a lift and there is a private and secure car park. The property also has a Lodging Licence (no 5561/AL) which all holiday rentals are required to have by law.

From the beach, at low tide, you can walk to both Villamora and Albuferia, stopping at several beach bars or restaurants on the way… Villamora has a Marina and also boasts many world class Golf Courses. Albufeira is livelier with its "old town" and street market. The "Algarve shopping" centre is in nearby Guia, easily accessed via car. There are many beautiful beaches nearby. Other activities include Zoomarine and Waterparks. Organised Boat or Fishing Trips are easy to book through the Ticket Office in the village .

I live in N Wales having worked for the National Trust as a Building surveyor I had decided to look for a holiday home for my impending retirement. My search for a property on the Algarve began in 2010 and after many trips out there have finally been fortunate enough to purchase an apartment which is not only located in the area we wanted but a lovely apartment with sea views that make this a perfect spot. I have always looked forward to having a bolt hole to spend long winter breaks with my partner and family.

Fabulous aoartment - Relaxing Holiday

Just returned from 11 days at the apartment with my husband and 2 children. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful from booking the holiday until returning - written information in the apartment on arrival and was also contactable quickly when we had a question.

Although only a one bedroomed we found it more than adequate for the 4 of us. The apartment was spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard with all mod cons which included wifi and air con - which was a blessing as it was 30 degrees plus throughout our stay. Towels, Ironing board, hairdryer and washing machine were provided which was fab in keeping weight down in our luggage. The pool area was pretty quiet (until we arrived) no struggle for sunbeds which was super. The town of Olhos had everything needed to make a fab family holiday for us, supermarket close by, great restaurants and a beautiful beach. We ate out every evening but the kitchen had everything needed so you could eat in too if you choose.

Albuferia was only a short journey away by taxi if you fancied a change of scenery (we didn' t). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Only down side for us was we only booked for 11 nights lol.

Already booked for the summer hols next year which is a first for us;)

Had a fabulous time staying at Norman's apartment. The apartment itself is very clean and modern, and caters for every need. The complex is in an excellent location, minutes from the beach, bars and shops. The apartment is the best in the complex, just down a flight of steps to the pool. Most of the other apartments have a balcony, whereas Norman's has a huge terrace, great for sunbathing, and also great for drinks in the evening, looking out to sea. Norman couldn't be more helpful, and his response is immediate. I couldn't recommend this apartment enough, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for a fabulous holiday..

Once again the apartment was well equipped and comfortable. I love having fresh orange juice each day! The TV worked much better with less pixelating this time. If we had to request/improve anything it would be to have water in the fridge on arrival. It would take the pressure off the Supermarket visit as soon as we arrive in the apartment. The apartment is close to all the shops and restaurants. There are 2 supermarkets to choose from nearby. However it is still quiet enough to think that you can be completely independent.

We took a train to Maia Praia (near Lagos). This was a great way to see some countryside. We also had Yellowfish transfer us to and from the airport which has been very reliable and we have the Cabriolet to add to the experience.

Perfect Relaxing Break

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your fantastic apartment. From the beginning of the booking process, communication was top class and your transfer recommendation was perfect. The location of the apartment cannot be faulted, minutes from the beach and directly above the main street with a range of great restaurants and bars. Supermarket also close to purchase amenities for the week. Lovely beach walks to neighbouring resorts and great bus service 2 minutes away. The apartment itself was excellent, couldn't fault it at all. All rooms of an excellent standard and fully equipped; a real home from home. The unexpected extras such as beach mats/towels, UK plug adaptors and books/magazines were really appreciated and just made the whole stay more comfortable and relaxing. The air conditioning and blackout shutters were wonderful to come home to after a day in the sun and meant we slept better than we have in weeks! Pool area was also great, what a treat to avoid the mad rush for loungers even in the school holidays! We enjoyed spending late afternoon by the pool when the weather had cooled slightly. I have already recommended your apartment to friends and family and hope to be able to visit again. Thanks again..

Fine apartment in perfect location

The apartment was modern and with high quality furniture and fittings. The apartment terrace was large and got the sun till mid afternoon, great for lounging and lunching. The apartment block was smart and 'up market'. The pool wasn't huge but set in a large terrace with beds and brollys with all day sun. The location was perfect - close to bars and restaurants of which there were plenty for a small resort, Restaurants offered good quality at an excellent price. The beach, accessed by a short stairway/path or down the lift had a sandy 200m stretch - with rock pools on both sides, good for kids. There were also coastal paths for walks - steep in parts. Excellent overall package.

Why Olhos? I first came to Olhos d Agua in 1999 not returning for some 13 years I was pleasantly surprised to see it still retained its charm and character. It sits just 30 minutes drive from the airport and is in between two of the regions biggest attractions – Villamora with its world class golf courses, up market boutiques and marina. Just a few minutes in the other direction is Alburfuria with its new marina and quaint old town. The location of the apartment itself cannot be faulted sitting as it does on a high vantage point offering views of an amazing beach, with rock pools and coves. From the beach, you can walk to both Villamora and Alburfuria, stopping at several beach bars or restaurants on the way…

The sandy beach is less than 150m away and can be reached via the lift or steps found adjacent to the lobby doors. The beaches are amongst the highest standard in Europe and are cleaned daily. Magnificent cliffs and caves can be found and quiet secluded coves. There are many picturesque walks in both directions, ranging from short flat walks to more energetic walks on the coastal path if desired. Other beaches can also be visited.


Faro airport is just 30 Mins away. Check the Internet for cheap flights to Faro with Ryanair, Easy Jet, Jet2, ThomsonFly, Monarch, BMI Baby.

An airport transfer can be arranged.


Vilamoura is a 15 min drive away and Albufeira is a short drive in the other direction. Zoomarine is a 20 min drive away and all are accessed by taxis local transport or shuttle bus

The "Algarve shopping" centre is in nearby Guia, easily accessed via car or a free shuttle bus service to and from the Hotel Riu close by.

Further Details:

A good choice of local shops, supermarkets, chemists are just a stroll away, together with cash points. Fresh bakery and produce can be bought daily in the village all just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Food and drink in the supermarkets is very reasonably priced, especially good for wine lovers.

There are many restaurants and bars serving a variety of dishes from locally caught fish to Chinese and even Indian. For a special evening enjoy a meal in one of the restaurants on the beach.

The apartment has all that could be needed for a relaxing holiday on one of Europe’s most popular coastlines. It boasts a very large terrace occupying almost as large a floor area as the apartment itself enjoying sunshine from early morning – perfect for an al -fresco breakfast and relaxing. Inside a high quality fitted kitchen with through lounge. This contains a sofa bed, a chair, and coffee table. Both this room and the bedroom lead out onto the terrace. The bathroom boasts a WC, bidet washbasin and a bath with a power shower. A communal pool and the beach is just 50M away, accessed down steps situated directly outside the lobby door or there is even a lift which takes you down to the street level adjacent to the beach. You also have your secure own parking space below

These are changed weekly or on any lett over 9 days. (please note own beach towels need to be supplied) Other: Enter the apartment into a small hallway which contains video entry system.
