Accommodation includes, kitchen, living area wetroom, underfloor heating, flat screen tv with freeview, hair dryer, John Lewis linen and towels, broadband/Wi-Fi. There is a utility room for both cottages with washing machine, freezer, iron, ironing board, hoover and airers. A travel cot is available, please bring your own bed linen. There is a selection of children’s toys, books and DVDs. Complementary Faritrade, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mineral water and toiletries are provided. Welcome packs can also tailored to your specification.

This is a 2 bedroom detached cottage with 1 double room and 1 room with twin beds, a 3rd put up bed can be added to sleep a 5th person, there is also a living area with kitchen and walk in wet room. The cottage is situated on our 6 acre family fruit farm approximately 1 mile from the village of Somersham. The location is quiet will all accommodation overlooking the countryside.

About the Owner

We are a family of 4 including 2 boys aged 15 and 13, we also have 4 chickens and 2 dogs and have lived at hollies farm since 1984. We built the holiday cottages in 2011 which were originally an old fruit store and workshop that were redundant. We have 6 acres of land with 2 apple orchards. I run the cottages and am very intent on keeping high standards, we will do our very best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this location and accomodation to any one.

We had a lovely stay at an excellent cottage.Lovely and clean with modern facilities and a fantastic view of the Cambridge countryside.

The added bonus was Roz allowed us to pick some wonderful apples and pears.We would definitely return to this holiday let.

We love to live here because we have space , peace and tranquillity. We are not too far from the village easily within walking distance, a pleasant stroll over the fields or by road. We are also very well located in the country for airports, London and Cambridge, with direct rail line from Huntingdon which is approx. 20 minutes by car. Our local airports are Luton and Stansted which are about 40 minutes away by car. Being in the open countryside there is minimal light pollution so ideal for star gazing.

Our nearest airports are Luton and Stansted which are each approximately 40 Miles away. Use of a car is recommended while staying, although the public transport is very good, with the new Guided bus way to Cambridge.

High quality modern accommodation, with peace and quiet. There is plenty of space around the properties and plenty of parking. The cottages are set well back from the road down a private drive with a coded gate entry. We are well located for local towns including Cambridge and Ely.
