About the property

One Twin, One Double bedroom. Sunlounge. Secluded patio and large garden. Pub next door. Ten minutes equidistant between Truro and Falmouth

A pretty and charming, typical Cornish country cottage which mixes old world charm and modern features. The cottage has full central heating and coal effect gas fire. The front garden is ideal to sit and watch the world go by. A patio area is just off the rear sun lounge and offers a lovely area for alfresco dinning. This leads to the large top garden where there are two deep lily ponds. (Children take care!!) The garden is secluded and offers peace and quiet and more areas to sit and relax. There are lovely walks in the immediate vicinity, including Trelisick Gardens. Trelisick is a National Trust parkland with gardens stretching to the creek. Further from the gardens is the famous King Harry Ferry which will carry you and your car to The Roseland Peninsula and the pretty seaside village of St. Mawes. Afternoon tea in the Hotel Tresanton is a must. Loe Beach is a short drive or bike ride away and offers swimming and fishing. You can hire kayaks and motor boats.

About Jennie Rees

Born in South Wales, Digby and Jennie Rees have owned and run pubs and restaurants for many years. We regularly visited Cornwall when our daughter was studying for an art degree in Falmouth. We fell in love with the area and finally ended up running the Punchbowl and Ladle pub for six happy years. Whilst we were there Jennie bought the cottage two doors away from the pub. We have now moved back to Wales, to another pub, but did not want to lose the cottage, so it is now a holiday cottage. Of course whenever time allows and the cottage is free we drive down and spend as much time as possible in this beautiful part of Cornwall.

Jennie Rees purchased this cottage in 2005

Why Jennie Rees chose Kea

It was next to our place of work and we just love the area.

What makes this cottage unique

Peace and quiet and a central location for visiting South Cornwall and all that it offers. Like great restaurants, pubs and of course the beaches and Trust Gardens.
