A luxurious House/Villa located in the heart of Torquay's 'Millionaires Row', in the quiet and sought after residential area of Wellswood.

Perfect for larger families and groups of friends wishing to celebrate that special occasion or simply enjoy a luxury vacation.

Magnolias nestles into Torquay, the English Riviera beautifully where a 10 minute walk will take you directly to the beach and fabulous scenic views and walks.

Our Property can accommodate up to 30 guests, where the main house comprises of with two large family rooms, 3 double bedrooms, 1 children's room and the detached self contained, Sun Room on the terrace (sleeping 24 in the main house) add the Annex with 3 double bedrooms and take your party size to 30.

Child friendly equipment such as high chairs and stair gates can be arranged with Hayley on booking, and with our Security gate increases the safety of the property, where you're more than welcome to bring your pets.

The Villa also boasts ample outside entertainment facilities, a large sun terrace with exceptional sea views and large decking area for outside dining and relaxation.

To invigorate your stay the property finishes in style with the largest indoor heated residential swimming pool in the South West, that is exclusively available for guests.

*Please note that check in days are restricted to Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays only

We also offer a 5% discount for those who wish to secure their booking in full, thus saving you up to 14% by avoiding service fees from the Online booking option.

About Hayley

Torquay is where I was born and despite being well travelled I would not chose to live anywhere else. My house is situated in the affluent area of Ilsham Marine Drive. A beautiful valley and wooded area leads to the seafront and beach facilities, all within a 10 minute walk. In the opposite direction the village of Wellswood can be found, which offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, beauty salons, hairdressers and a Pub, within a 5-10 minute walk.

So more people can enjoy the benefits of this stunning location.

Why Hayley chose Torbay

The property is within 2 miles of a local train station. Exeter airport is approximately 25 miles away and Bristol airport is 90 miles away.

Local shops are a 5 minute walk, whilst the centre of Torquay town is approximately 2 miles.

For those wanting to expand on their shopping experience the historic City of Exeter is 22 miles away. Approximately 30 miles to the west, The city of Plymouth, which is the largest of Devon's cities, can be found. It has a maritime history of great importance and is also the home to the National Marine Aquarium. Dartmoor National Park which is full of legends, folklore and wild ponies can be reached by 30-40 minutes car drive.

What makes this house unique

I purchased this property as my family home. The house itself had so much to offer but I have continued to add to the property and enhance its features.

Magnolias house has the largest residential heated indoor swimming pool in the south west. The large sun decking area attracts all day sunshine and the views from this area are breath taking.

I have made sure the downstairs area is accessible for those with restricted mobility.

Just Fabulous !!!!

Just returned from my future neice's Hen Party....Everything about the house is Amazing it's the Perfect locations for a large group get away, the pool was Beautiful and the view from the large sun terrace was stunning!!

Pefect get away

Our stay was to celebrate my sons 21st and in no way did it disappoint . The house is as described on the web site, spacious , clean , great location with excellent facilities to suit all ages. Hayley and Ian were the perfect hosts and met every request . I would highly recommend staying at Magnolias House for any group celebration .

Wow! What a brilliant stay we had!

All I can say is Wow!

Throughout the whole process (which was about a year) Hayley was incredible. At first, because I couldn't find many reviews I was a bit worried about booking for so many people but Hayley made me feel so comfortable. She sent me videos of the house and it really did live up to the expectations. We had 24 very happy hens who all thought the house was incredible. We most definitely will be coming back!

The house is in walking distance of the beautiful harbour and if you get a weekend like we did the walk is stunning (even if you are a bit hungover)!!

Amazing party house

We booked magnolias house for my daughters hen party. What can I say it was amazing the pool was a big hit and the games room. The top decking was fab we were lucky with the weather and made full use of it with buttlers in the buff lol. The whole house just flowed beautify. Lots of room for everyone. The owners cater for parties with plastic cups and glasses everything you need. The area it is in isn't far from shops. BBQ time you have farm foods local and all other main supermarkets couldn't be better. Because it was a hen party I took two slow cookers and two skillets with me (curry and chilli) and special fried rice for the buttlers to serve lol everybody is still talking about the place and the party itself! Best party and place ever. Thank you magnolias house we will be back :-)

Amazing

My family and I booked this holiday home as a last minute stay and are still 'absolutely thrilled' of the pure 5 star quality of not just the house but the customer service and hospitality of the owners.

Just to start... I must have made a dozen phonecalls to Hayley before our travel, who was always so obliging and helpful at any time of the day. Including best travel routes, main attractions of Torquay and the best restaurants and activities for the children whilst we were here.

Upon arrival not only were we 'WOW'd' by the house (and swimming pool) but Hayley and Ian had provided a variety of snacks/nibbles and prosecco (also lager for the men) for our arrival - after a long journey we truly appreciated this (thank you).

The interior of this house is not something you will see everyday and would recommend to anyone.

As a group of 20 there was enough room for all of us and never felt on top of each other. The entertainment areas were very spacious, but at the same time intimate. All aspects of having large parties to holiday have been very well thought through... right down to the extra toaster and the three additional refrigeration units - our favorite being the beer fridge :)

A simple thing that really meant a lot to us was the Apple television as we were able to reminisce our daily activities as a family at the end of the day.

Netflix and full sky package was an absolute hit with everyone in our party, all on full view on a 50" television with a superb sound system - you could feel every kick of the ball!!! (you could have been at the stadium)

My family and I are very worldly travelled, but this is the first time my children have cried upon leaving.

This house does exactly what it says 'on the tin', therefore we look forward to returning with friends in the future.

Thank you so much Hayley and Ian for making this a very special and memorable holiday.
