About the Owner
Westerly is a much loved holiday home owned by a young British family. The west coast of Scotland is a very special place to us and we hope that you enjoy spending time here as much as we do!
4.9 based on 15 holidaymaker reviews
The cottage is so comfortable and welcoming,I can't recommend it highly enough. Everything you need is there. The location is great also, lots of places to go from there, a good base from which to explore western Schotland. Just be prepared for all weather and you can't go wrong.
Great Place to Get Away From It All
Very spacious and modern 3 bedroom holiday cottage with beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets. Withing driving distance of many nice day trips. Local pub is literally feet away, and does offer free internet if you really need it. We very much enjoyed our family holiday here in August.
A fantastic cottage in a great location
We stayed at Westerly at Craobh Haven for a family holiday (2 adults + 2 children) and had a great time.
The cottage is very nice, well furnished, well equipped and in an excellent location.
The weather was good during our stay and we had planned a few trips / activities for our stay . . .
A fishing trip from Oban, Horse riding for the wife and daughter and a ferry trip to explore the Isle of Mull.
So much to do, lot's to see and a very beautiful place to be on holiday.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely stay here again.
A very attractive location
V good and well equipped accommodation (although a dishwasher would have been nice!). Well designed and plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children, we would book again, even though we were unlucky with the weather. A problem with the hot water was sorted quickly by the owner, so a positive experience.
Just what was needed
A great week away in the highlands staying at Westerly in Craobh Haven. We made the most of it with local visits to Crinan, Oban, Kilmartin stones, a walk over to Ardfern (8 miles there and back easy walking) and further afield to Glen Coe, Isle of Mull and Tobermory (get the ferry over and then the bus, about £7 for the ferry and £10 on the bus). Also fulfilled a long term objective to climb Ben Nevis... 1300m climb up a boulder strewn path to see diddly squat from the top, but absolutely worth it to tick it off the bucket list. And Spean Bridge, a truly wonderful location for the Commando memorial. Many thanks for letting us stay in your warm, light and comfortably house.
amazing place to stay
We had an excellent stay for our few days of the February this year. Views fantastic, décor and furnishings splendid, ambience and level of comfort above and beyond that anticipated. A pleasure to return to each day after touring the area which was perfect for walking and day trips. So much to do an a daily basis and beautiful view in nice calm area. Perfect location for exploring. Thank you very much for making our stay so special.

Plenty of maps and local guides are available for exploring the local area. There are also DVDs and board games for the occasional wet afternoon.
