The house is on one level with large rooms . It has three double bedrooms and three bathrooms .The lounge kitchen are is well equipped and comfortable. The terrace areas have comfortable furnishings and great views , not to mention a lovely cool breeze in the aftrenoons. Situated on the south-west coast of Corfu, close to Lake Korission and the wonderful sandy beaches of this area, Villa Halikounas is situated in a quiet location within walking distance of the beach. Recently renovated to a high standard, the villa offers excellent outside space .There is a brick built BBQ area , so you can enjoy the evenings by the pool , swell as a couple of very good local tavernas. There are a number of historical sites in the vicinity including the magnificent castle at Gardiki. A working olive press is a great visit to sample the local olive oils .(As seen on ITV )and a small Winery.
The long sandy beach is one of the best on the island ,there is enough space so even in August you can have plenty of space to yourselves. It has just two beach bars and offers paddle boarding and kitesurfing.
The evening sun is fantastic here , just enjoy a quiet drink and watch the sun go down.
