This is a penthouse apartment with a spacious 190sqm. There are two bedrooms and a very large open plan living area.

The south facing balcony and mezzanine main bedroom enjoy views over the beautiful heated pool and landscaped grounds to the beach and ocean, the pool has a kids shallow area.

Relax by the pool, on the beach, in the apartment on the Italian leather sofas or on the balcony with a cocktail in the sun!

The island is hot all year round so you can always enjoy the pool or the miles of stunning beaches.

About Mr Sam Bainbridge

We are property developers in the UK and bought this apartment originally as we wanted to move to Cape Verde, we planned to live and find work there. However, by the time it was built time had moved on and we had started a family back home. We are now using this as a holiday home and hope you enjoy visiting there as much as we do!

This is one of the few developments on the island with a pool and it is right on the beach. The beach here is quieter then the rest of Santa Maria and the beach bar is one of the most relaxed places you can find on the island, the food is awesome too. If you want to be more active and get on the water then this is the place to be!

What makes this apartment unique

The luxury of space that is hard to find in holiday apartments. Pool with kids shallow area. Right on the beach with bar, loungers and watersports. A few minutes walk and you are in the centre of Santa Maria. There is a corner shop in the development which will have most of the things you need.

Notes on accommodation: The property is located on the top (2nd) floor, with an overall view of the pool and the beach and sea beyond. The complex has a large freshwater swimming pool complete with infant pool and shower that can be seen from the apartment balcony. A few steps from the apartment is the beach. As this is also our holiday home we have made sure it is a home from home with top quality furniture, Blue ray/DVD/CD player, iPod/Mp3 docking station, books, and 42 inch television with 11 satellite channels. There is also a hair-dryer. Weekly cleaning and a linen change are included in the price. High chair and cot are available at request. Outside: The Leme Bedje complex is in a idyllic position located directly opposite the Ponta Leme Bedje white sandy beach. The complex has a large heated freshwater swimming pool leading from the baby pool all the way around to deep end that is ideal for diving. There is plenty of poolside furniture and beautifully landscaped and well maintained gardens. The Leme Bedje beach, with warm shallow waters is an ideal spot for children and adults alike to swim. The beach is south facing and the waves are predominantly from the north and west. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, as is cleaning. This is all done on a weekly basis. Other: Very large entrance hall has table and chairs which gets a great wifi if you need somewhere to check your emails. Shelves contain a variety of dvds, books and games. The balcony with bar stools and table is south facing so gets the sun all day!

Perfect stay

We have spent a fantastic holiday in Sal and had a wonderful stay at the apartment!

Communication with the owner Sam Bainbridge was excellent. Check-in/check-out and everything in between was easy and also well organised. We have been several times in Sal and this was definitely the best apartment complex. It is perfectly located at the beachside and close to the city centre of Santa Maria. The apartment is very spacious, clean, well equipped, light and airy.

We hope to come back soon. No stress Cabo Verde!

Tryggt och fint boende!

Vi är mycket nöjda med vårt val av semesterboende på Sal! Kommer absolut att boka framtida semestrar igen genom ownersdirect. Kontakten med ägaren har varit trevlig och mycket informativ! Vi fick mail med allt vi behövde veta! Det har gått som på räls; Vi blev mötta på flygplatsen och körda till lägenheten. Hjälp upp m bagaget. Rent och fint och fräscht i bäddarna och överallt. Mycket hög standard på möblemanget. Nyskick!! Söderläge, så sol på balkongen hela dagen! Lugn anläggning med en fin liten pool och vackra blommor runt. En bra affär med precis allt vi behövde i huset!! Gick ner och köpte färska frallor till frukosten medans vattnet kokade upp..Hade varit toppen med en hängmatta på balkongen, då krokarna finns där 😊 Området kändes tryggt och lugnt och ligger bra till. En familjär stämning rådde och grannar nickade och hälsade. Inget stort problem, men vill nämna att vi hörde hundar skälla på kvällarna och ibland nattetid. De hundar som vi såg sova på dagen, ofta i skuggan bakom solstolarna..de vaknade väl till liv framåt kvällen..

A perfect stay in a perfect place to enjoy Beach, kitesurf, restaurant, and relaxation 😊

My contact with Mr Bainbridge was really helpful and nice. He helped us a lot before our arrival. I thank him a lot.

The house was great and the residence also, just front to the Ocean.

Perfect to enjoy the sun, the wind (best spot to wind surf of the island, best spot also for kitesurfing but becareful when you launch your kite, the wind is a bit cut by the residence, once you are on the water it was perfect : flat, wind really stable, you can go surf some waves to learn)!

The beach bar Angulo on the beach are awesome in terms of services, kindness, helpfulness. They made our stay perfect holidays.

The apartment is really nice and has a lot of space. It was clean and the movies offered in the apartment (DVD) was great after long day on the water.

To be perfectly great, it will be really nice to offer when we arrived : sponge, toilet paper, clean products...

Another positive point about the residence that it is nice and warm because you don't fell the wind inside.

The apartment is really quiet as the residence, perfect for relaxing on a long chair or on the balcony.

I recommend this apartment for everyone looking for an apartment in Sal next to the city centre and the main bar and restaurants : 5-10 walking.

I wish the best holidays in this apartment to everyone.

A perfect holiday and a nice apartment

The property was spacious and well equipped. Close to the beach, restaurants and the local supermarket. We were a family of four, two adults and two children of the age of 11 and 16. We were all very satisfied. The pool area was clean and cozy, there were little or no noise from the rest of the apartments. The owner of the apartment was easy to get in touch with and everything went smooth.

The Island and the village has a lot to offer, even if you are not in to watersports. And everything is in walking distance from the apartment. If you want a vacation free from stress, well this is the place to go. If you want action and need thing to do all the time, well, then this is also the place to go.

Great location on an amazing Island

Great location just where we love to be. 5 minute walk into town and 1 minute jump, skip and hop to the beach. Apartment was spacious and perfect for what we needed although the bathroom was downstairs (there is also a downstairs bedroom) and it had no ventilation which was an issue. Will most definitely be renting this property again.

Lovely stay in great apartment/location

The location of this apartment complex is perfect with a great sea view, the complex is peaceful and tranquil, the pool area is beautifully landscaped, and at night the lighting in the pool is stunning, the apartment is bright and spacious, and everything is there that is needed to enhance a self catering holiday, we loved our stay here and will return.
