Have a delicious al fresco meal in restaurant One or a more formal lunch at Gallery 2 which is a short stroll across the road. Take The Gallery bus back into the City Centre and Visit the Scottish National Gallery. Walk the length of The Royal Mile just 15 minutes away, at one end you have Edinburgh Castle and the other The Palace of Holyrood, The Queens Gallery, as well as The Scottish parliament and Dynamic Earth. Enjoy a stroll along George Street for a spot of shopping. If travelling with children you will find the City Art Centre, the Museum of Childhood on the Royal Mile, The Scottish Story telling centre and the excellent bus tours are a must if you would prefer to save your strength and view the city in a more portly fashion!! There are different options of bus tour so if you would like to visit Leith and the Stunning Botanical Gardens then we recommend visiting The Royal Yacht Britannia which was Her Majesty's Queen Elizabeth II former Royal yacht which was in service from 1954 to 1997. A visit to The Dundgeons or the Real Mary King’s Close which is buried deep beneath Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. The city’s deepest secret; a warren of hidden streets that has remained frozen in time since the 17th Century.
