Autumn break in Norfolk
We had a lovely week in North Norfolk exploring the area and coastline, which were beautiful. The cottage was idilic with a beautiful garden to sit in an enjoy the late afternoon sun The cottage was well equipped and cosy The only negative was the lack of sockets and lighting in the top floor bedrooms but this wouldn’t deter us from booking it again

A fantastic historic property with a wonderful host.
The house is 2 miles from the coast and a Sandy beach with all the nearby amenities you’d expect. Ideal for seeing more of Norfolk too. The property itself has plenty of space to sleep and house 6. 2 bathrooms, 2 receptions and a beautifully maintained garden. Martin was exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to resolve a couple of issues that we faced during our stay. I highly recommend this property and am certain we’ll be back.

Characterful period property in a great location
Well situated house in the centre of a quiet village just a few yards from a shop and the local pub. The property is extremely characterful and has a small sun trap of a garden. Trunch is a good location from which to explore the coast or the broads and to access walking and cycling routes.

Even better than expected
The photos really don’t do this house justice, it is absolutely beautiful and one of the best equipped holiday houses we have ever stayed in. The host was friendly and accessible, the location and countryside stunning. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for everything is that the hot water upstairs failed, the host did everything he could however to try to get it fixed and there was a great shower downstairs that worked well throughout so it was not a big problem.

I began holidaying in North Norfolk more than 45 years ago when I was a small child. First it was camping, then caravaning & then staying in my parents holiday cottage. I introduced my wife to the area & now we holiday here regularly with our own children, so much so that it seemed crazy not to buy a place of our own. In 2003 we purchased our first holiday home here which we lovingly restored and enjoyed for over 9 years. Now we have taken the plunge and bought somewhere larger and are pleased to make it available to you for your own enjoyment, and we sincerely hope you enjoy your stay in what we consider to be the very best corner of rural England.
