About the Owner

Rock Cottage is a loved family cottage co-owned by Gabi and her family and my husband and myself (plus our dog).

Our youngest daughter visits it too with her young family.

We have spent many half terms, summer weeks, Xmas and long weekend together at the cottage.

The age range of the kids is 13 to 5 all of whom love to come to visit it. It has taught them that city life is not always that great and that life in the country has so much to enjoy.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Gabi

We (at least the rest of the family) really enjoyed the cottage and we would definitely consider going there again.

I'm sorry about the shower screen, and I'll accept forfeiting the £50 towards the breakage. It's a lovely cottage and it works really well for two families to share. If you are interested, I'll let others know about it.

Kind regards.

Location

From the Owner

We love Rock cottage - it is quaint, quiet, secluded and old. The house is nestled against the hill side with sheep and cows and deer roaming freely in the fields. The garden rises above it. It overlooks a valley next to Arlington Court Park. We have lovingly decorated with cottage and have collected a few interesting shabby chic antique pieces. However it is easy-going, child and dog friendly. The beds are comfortable with good quality pillows and duvets. The galley kitchen is small but well equipped so that major cooking can be done - even Xmas feasts! There are two living rooms so that if you don't feel like watching TV, you can seclude yourself with a book at the other end of the house.
