About Emma Nicholls

We live between Devon and Cornwall, both working in the city of Plymouth where we share a house with our labrador, 'Reggie' and his new 'friend' springer 'Nessa'. Originally, we were both based in Cornwall, but work took us away. However, there was no way that we were going to part with our Cornish home and now, after extensive refurbishment we're in a position to be able to share the delights of this very special part of the world.

Emma Nicholls purchased this cottage in 2010

Why Emma Nicholls chose Camborne

We bought this property after holidaying opposite! We couldn't believe what a gem of a place the village is: close to fantastic beaches and easily accessible, yet in such a tucked away location that few people have heard of it.

What makes this cottage unique

A peaceful hideaway with so many activities on offer that you can easily design your perfect holiday experience.

The beaches are only five minutes in a car: 4 miles of golden sand and a surfer's paradise. If it's culture you fancy then St Ives, the Tate and Barbara Hepworth museum are close by. Why not ditch your car and travel by train along the stunning coastal railway? Want more activity? Then try coasteering, surfing, kitesurfing, horseriding or golf. Prefer a quieter experience? Sip a glass of wine overlooking Falmouth harbour or Sennen Cove.

A holiday pack awaits you, or we can provide you with lots of information via email. There's just too much to mention here!

Great location - Highly Recommended Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Our second visit to Tresco Cottage. Convenient location to great beaches and lots of places to visit. Very comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The owners are very friendly and accommodating - we really enjoyed the scones and Prosecco too!

Thank you for another lovely week!

Fantastic cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fab week at Tresco cottage! The cottage is spacious, airy, and very well kept. The property is exceptionally well equipped, with everything we needed, and more.

The cottage is in a great location to explore the beautiful area. We spent most days in St Ives, getting the coastal train (the station which is around a 10-15 minute drive from the cottage).

The Sunday changeover was a huge bonus and meant we avoided all the Friday/ Saturday traffic!

Thanks for a great stay- we will be back!

An ideal holiday cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is surprisingly spacious and comfortably fitted our two families: one with children aged 13 years, 8 years and 19 months, the other with children aged 8 and 6 years. The dining area was able to seat both families plus another family of three who visited for breakfast and dinner. Everything was well organised, with the option to have food delivered from Tesco in advance of our arrival being very useful. The cottage was cosy, clean and well appointed. It is in a quiet, country location, with a lovely beach a pleasant drive away and with easy access to the A30 for other journeys. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully presented house and helpful owners

  • 5 of 5

My family really enjoyed our stay at Tresco. Chris and Emma were helpful throughout - from answering queries at booking, to giving clear instructions on arrival and departure. From looking at the photos, we knew that the house was nice but hadn't expected how well it would be maintained and cleaned when we arrived. Everything was thought of - from towels and hand soaps, to setting-up a cot and high-chair for our 8 month old daughter. We definitely plan to stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Beautiful well equipped cottage

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely cottage with great attention to detail and high quality furnishings and fittings. We have stayed in many holiday lets and this was by far the best as there was nothing missed and the accomodation was very welcoming, cosy and exceptionally clean.

We loved being a 5 minute drive to the beautiful Godrevy beach and the children were body boarding each day. The cottage is in a quiet peaceful lane, but still within easy reach of Penzance, St Ives and Hayle.

Thank you Emma and Chris for a lovely cottage and fantastic welcome pack. We will definitely be returning! The Lunn Family & Grandma.

Stunning Cottage, ideally located.

  • 5 of 5

Tresco cottage was amazing, a beautiful place to stay for our time in Cornwall. The addition of the 4th bedroom with en- suite is stunning and compliments the high standard of the rest of the cottage. Very peaceful and rural, but only a short way from scenic views and coastline. Chris and Emma's attention to detail was fantastic, nothing was left to chance, a comprehensive welcome pack and lovely touch of delicious Saffron cake, clotted cream and bottle of Prosecco upon our arrival. Would definitely stay again.Thank you again the Sharman Family.
