Standing in Cornish countryside, with distant sea views, the property is just short walk away from the glorious beach of Praa Sands. The beach is popular for bathing and watersports and is manned by lifeguards through the summer. The property is furnished to a good standard providing comfortable accommodation with a small peaceful rear garden. Long cliff top and country walks are nearby. The village shops provide all daily needs including a Post Office. There is electric heating throughout. A 42" TV/DVD player is provided, with Free-serve channels, and we have plenty of films & children's films. Non Smokers only please. Changeover Saturday, 4.00 pm arrival, 10.00 am departure. The Chalet electricity and gas and internet is included in the Tariff. Sleeps 2 adults 2 children. Pets by arrangement. Parking is next to the chalet.

Standing in Cornish countryside, with views across the Praa Sands bay, this comfortable large villa, extensive grounds and chalet is just short walk away from the glorious beach of Praa Sands, downhill past Pengersick Castle. The beach is popular for bathing and watersports and is manned by lifeguards through the summer. Both properties are furnished to a good standard providing comfortable accommodation with a peaceful and private rear gardens ideal for BBQ. Long cliff top Cornish coast path and National Trust walks are nearby, a renowned golf course and access to the hill top and countryside public footpaths are nearby. The Praa Sands village shops provide all daily needs and include a Post Office. There are numerous reputable pubs in the area, and good food served at beach Sandbar pub, and 'breakfast on the beach' served at the Beachcomber Cafe'. Wet Suits, surfing-boards and kayaks are also available.

We live in Praa Sands with our twin sons and daughter. I work in a local primary school as a Teaching Assistant and my husband is a retired businessman from overseas.

Why Champa Middleton chose South West Cornwall

We visited in Praa Sands as a holiday destination while we were living in Malaysia and instantly fell in love with this beautiful area, especially with the golden sandy beach.

The chalet is situated in the extensive grounds of our house, The White House, Praa Sands.

Our children spend most of their leisure time down on the beach and walking or cycling in the area and on numerous paths on the hills overlooking the bay.

Mould

Very very disappointed with this property.Arrived to a very smelly chalet.Once inside we could see it was dirty,and mould growing up most walls.Not what you want when you have just drove through the night.Stayed one night then left.Owner very uncooperative.Given one star but doesn't really deserve that!

Owner's Response: This lady declined the property quoting a severe medical condition of which we were unaware. When she declined access for the cleaning company to assess, we refunded her in full, paid two nights in full for local accommodation, and found alternative accommodation in a reputable Holiday Park in Mullion, for which we paid in advance for the week, unfortunately she also turned it down quoting 'thin mattresses' all the above carried out promptly without question. After some time we began receiving demands for further money with threats, which is now subject to legal appraisal therefore we are not able to comment further." Outside: The properties are co-located in grounds of almost 3/4 acre with large trees and grass areas for games and relaxation. Both properties are equipped with two large traditional garden tables. The hardwood gates can be closed to make the entire area safe for young children to play. To the front of the properties there are views across the valley, and down to the sea.
