Our children spend most of their leisure time down on the beach and walking or cycling in the area and on numerous paths on the hills overlooking the bay.

a great little gem
stayed in the chalet, had a great holiday good location everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. Outside well maintained gardens and seating area would defiantly stay here again
Very very disappointed with this property.Arrived to a very smelly chalet.Once inside we could see it was dirty, and mould growing up most walls. Not what you want when you have just drove through the night.Stayed one night then left.Owner very uncooperative.Given one star but doesn't really deserve that!

Activity and Interests
Praa Sands is a renowned beach facing south, and stretching to almost a mile. Its shallow waters make Praa Sands a popular choice for families and a lifeguard service covers a marked section of the beach.
Facing south the beach is said to have the longest sunshine hours in the country.
The bay also attracts surfers as part of the beach has consistent large waves.
There is a cafe and two restaurants available and equipment hire on the beach.
Near the beach is Pengersick Castle, reputed to be the most haunted in Britain and well worth a visit.
The chalet is 0.4 miles to the local Londis shop and public telephone, 0.5 miles to the beach and Sandbar pub and restaurant, and 0.2 miles to the Praa Sands golf course.
St Michaels Mount and Marazion is 4 miles away, and Pothleven's historic harbour is 2.5 miles which can also be reached by Cornwall's famous coastal path from Praa Sands beach.
An information pack is provided which gives details of local attractions, distances and contact numbers for doctors, hospitals, chemists, pubs and restaurants.
