Lovely harbourside apartment

Great apartment right next to the harbour and ideally located for exploring the area. We explored locally such as Tantallon castle and North Berwick as well as trips to Edinburgh and a great drive to Killin via Stirling Castle, which was very scenic! The apartment is well equipped and a lovely place to come back to after exploring, the beds are particularly comfortable. The owner was always helpful and quick to reply to any questions and is accurate in the description of the apartment. In Dunbar there are some nice playparks, walks and rockpooling for the kids, all within easy walking distance of the apartment and the tropical swimming pool is great value and only a few minutes walk away. Thanks for a brilliant holiday!

A week in the school hols

Really comfortable cottage and equipped with everything you need. Had a great week here and would definitely go back. Very central as down by the harbour however, there are no harbour views despite the front door opens on to the harbour but, not an issue if you're out walking all the time. The high street is a couple of minutes walk too so, very convenient. 2 adults and 2 children and we got by without a car.

Great Apartment

Apartment in brilliant situation overlooking harbour with two resident seals. We were going to Scottish Open at Gullane. Would be ideal place for golfing holiday. Apartment was exactly as described. Ate at Black Agnes, Indian and Italian - all good.

lovely harbour front apartment in Dunbar

This was our second stay in this lovely, well maintained apartment. The apartment itself is comfortable and well equipped. We would certainly recommend this property. The owner was very efficient in communications with us. We particularly liked the location next to the picturesque harbour with good sea views from the ruins of the Napoleonic battery. The area of East Lothian itself is very attractive with lovely beaches and walks.

Quirky well presented apartment in perfect spot

Apartment has been done to a very high standard. The location is central to all the local amenities and the pub just over the road the volunteer arms is the pick of the bunch. The view from the apartment is stunning and well worth a stay just for that. I have spent a month in the property and have enjoyed every minute, just a shame im here to work. I would highly recommend this apartment to any couple or family wanting a relaxing trip in high class accommodation.

We love getting away to the coast. There is always something different to watch down at the harbour. Strolling up to the nearby pub and restaurant for dinner then back down for a walk along the beach is hard to beat.

Nearest Barpub : Volunteer arms at 50 Metres Nearest Golf : Dunbar golf club at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Train : Dunbar railway station at 1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Dunbar at 150 Metres

Coast/Beach:

5 minutes walk to local beach other sandy beaches available close by. East Lothian has some of the most beautiful coastlines in Scotland. The JohnMuir country park is 5 minutes drive

Travel:

Edinburgh Airport approx 40 miles away. Dunbar is on the Edinburgh to London east coast line. Regular trains run from Dunbar to Edinburgh. Journey takes approx 20 minutes.

To enjoy the area fully a car is recommended

Distances:

John Muir Country Park on the doorstep. North Berwick and Gullane

Further Details:

There are a number of restaurants serving fresh local produce within walking distance of the apartment. The fish and chip shop is worth a visit! Dunbar has a bustling high street which boasts a variety of speciality shops and coffee shops. An indoor swimming pool is only 200 metres away. The sea life centre in North Berwick and the museum of flight at East Fortune are well worth a visit. Walking the John Muir way along parts of the coast is also to be recommended
